Can you believe it’s almost been 3 months since the last rankings? I have been fortunate to have seen a ton of bball and have learned several new names, and watched several other players grow and improve over the last quarter. In this article, PH takes a look at some of the top stock-rising wings in the state.

[player_tooltip player_id="1032098" first="Jamir" last="McNeal"] 6’2 SF Iso Elite 2023 - McNeal certainly looks the part. He has long arms, and a solid frame. His calling card right now is his defensive versatility, specifically his ability to lock down on wing scorers. Needs more polish on the offensive end, but his signature skill certainly makes him worthy of rising in the rankings.

[player_tooltip player_id="986959" first="Ryder" last="Elisaldez"] 6’1 SG Vegas Elite 2024 (#10PHN 2024) - I am always searching for easy evaluations. In the initial 2024 rankings I had Elisaldez sitting at number 10. His play recently has proved that that may be too low. An explosive R&J athlete, the thing that has actually raised his stock the most, is his ability to impact games whenever he is on the floor no matter the competition. If he’s not scoring, expect him to impact the game with his defense, rebounding or playmaking ability.

[player_tooltip player_id="1020436" first="Graydon" last="Lemke"] 6’5 SF Leverage 2024 - Shooters shoot, and Lemke stays locked and loaded. A prototype stretch his shot making ability is valuable at any level, but becomes heightened because of his youth. He’s another young player that will be making his first appearance in the rankings.

[player_tooltip player_id="1006243" first="Ray" last="Payne"] 6’0 SG OGB 2022 - Payne is a nice combo sleeper. He doesn’t blow you away with tremendous physical skills, but he has a knack for making the right play every time down. A tough hard nose defender, Payne has the ability to stay in front of both backcourt spots.

[player_tooltip player_id="1014871" first="Marquise" last="Johnson"] 6’2 SG LV Aces 2022 (featured image) - Johnson is one of my new favorite players. Wired to score, the 6’2 wing can get hot in an instant from outside, or create for himself off the bounce. He is one of the few players that still uses the mid range game effectively.

[player_tooltip player_id="1020756" first="Frank" last="Evans"] 6’2 SG Hard 2 Guard 2022 - Perhaps no player will find themselves rising in the rankings higher than Evans. One of the smoothest players in the city, Evans is an offensive weapon that can get his with his jumper, his driving ability and his knack for scoring in transition. Went from unknown to one of the top scoring guards in his class with his dominating summer play.

[player_tooltip player_id="1014882" first="Midate" last="Mou"] 6’1 SG SFBA 2021 - Greg Lockridge is one of the best teachers of basketball in the world. Mou has certainly benefited from that knowledge. The shooting guard has become a star in his role as a defensive pest and tempo changing playmaker. He’s been simply to good this summer to ignore, and I have a sneaking suspicion that his play on the Grind Session is also going to turn some heads.
