<p>In an effort to provide new and unique ways to cover prospects, we thought it would be important to give some coverage to those that might not always get it. To do that, we will be digging deep into each conference in the state.</p>
<p>After our series of articles on the Class of 2021 who should be valued, we now shift our attention to those in the Class of 2022 and those that need to be on the radar of college coaches. </p>
<p>We will continue to go through each conference to try and hit as many players as possible with the hopes of helping these juniors the attention of prospective college coaches. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="682277" first="Trevion" last="Labeaux"] - Waterloo East</strong></p>
<p>Part of a youth movement at Waterloo East last season was Class of 2022 prospect [player_tooltip player_id="682277" first="Trevion" last="Labeaux"].</p>
<p>Labeaux scored 282 points, shooting almost 57 percent from the floor. His 140 rebounds led the Trojans, while adding a team-high 31 blocks, 14 assists and 12 steals.</p>
<p>Labeaux, who knocked down almost 58 percent of his free throws, is one of 10 players returning who started at least one game last year for Waterloo East. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="682264" first="Gabe" last="Burkle"] - Cedar Rapids Prairie</strong></p>
<p>Part of a talented Class of 2022 duo for Cedar Rapids Prairie with [player_tooltip player_id="784979" first="Elijah" last="Ward"], [player_tooltip player_id="682264" first="Gabe" last="Burkle"] was a force inside last season.</p>
<p>Burkle scored 230 points with 142 rebounds including 50 on the offensive end. The center also blocked 18 shots and added 24 assists and 13 steals.</p>
<p>Checking in at 6-foot-7, Burkle shot over 58 percent from the field and nearly 67 percent at the free throw line. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="784977" first="Jamari" last="Newson"] - Iowa City High</strong></p>
<p>While the graduation of leading scorer and rebounder [player_tooltip player_id="801837" first="Keshawn" last="Christian"] hurts Iowa City High, the continued development of Class of 2022 player [player_tooltip player_id="784977" first="Jamari" last="Newson"] should soften the blow.</p>
<p>Newson averaged eight points and five rebounds per game last year, adding in 52 assists and 38 steals for the Little Hawks.</p>
<p>He knocked down 11 three-pointers and shot over 42 percent from the field through 22 games. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="682265" first="Trey" last="Campbell"] - Cedar Falls</strong></p>
<p>Despite being just a sophomore, Class of 2022 prospect [player_tooltip player_id="682265" first="Trey" last="Campbell"] had no trouble handling the point guard duties at Cedar Falls a year ago.</p>
<p>Campbell scored 169 points, adding 115 assists with 96 rebounds and 40 steals. He grabbed 33 offensive boards and even blocked eight shots.</p>
<p>Along with helping lead the Tigers to a third place finish in Class 4A at state, Campbell also shot nearly 50 percent from the field and over 72 percent at the charity stripe. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="682275" first="Brayden" last="Kindhart"] - Cedar Rapids Jefferson</strong></p>
<p>One of the top scoring sophomores in the Mississippi Valley Conference last year, Cedar Rapids Jefferson’s [player_tooltip player_id="682275" first="Brayden" last="Kindhart"] should be poised for a big junior campaign.</p>
<p>Kindhart averaged just under 10 points per game, shooting almost 51 percent from the field. He will be looked upon to add to that number with the graduation of leading scorer [player_tooltip player_id="801847" first="Ozzie" last="Meiborg"].</p>
<p>Along with scoring 218 points, Kindhart added 53 rebounds, 30 assists and 15 steals. He also made nearly 61 percent of his free throws and knocked down 28 three-pointers. </p>
