There was some good bump in the gym on Saturday morning at the I95 Coalition presented by The St. James. Here are 8 standouts from the session.

Imani Anderson | District BC/Avalon (MD) ‘22

Anderson is a long lanky guard who looked comfortable with the ball in his hands. He plays at a good pace and is a crafty finisher in traffic.

[player_tooltip player_id="999650" first="Isaiah" last="Coleman"] | New World/Chancellor (VA) ‘22

Saying that Coleman is athletic would be an understatement. He’s a long and rangy wing who thrives in transition.

Alex Mostashari | District BC/Gonzaga (DC) ‘23

Mostashari shot the ball well today, knocking down three treys in the first half of his team’s contest against New World. He also did his due diligence on the glass and showed a solid work rate.

[player_tooltip player_id="957019" first="Kwame" last="Evans"] | Team Durant/Poly (MD) ‘23

If I had to rank the top performers from the A.M. in order, Evans would no doubt be #1. His unique blend of size and skill jumps off the page immediately. Another thing that stood out was Evans’ playmaking ability. He’s a grab-and-go threat who can see over the top of the defense and push the ball quickly on the break.

[player_tooltip player_id="904663" first="Rob" last="Lawson"] | Team Durant/Carroll (DC) ‘22

In a highly competitive contest between Team Durant and New World, Lawson came to play. He competed on every play defensively where he was robust at the point of attack. Lawson also applied tremendous pressure on the defense with his quickness and relentless paint-getting ability.

[player_tooltip player_id="837960" first="Delonte" last="Raynor"] | District BC/Fairmont Heights (MD) ‘22

Raynor has an extra gear that not many foes can match. He excels in transition as a result.

[player_tooltip player_id="990928" first="Jalen" last="Warley"] | Team Durant/Westtown (PA) ‘21

Team Durant was certainly tested against Team Richmond today, but ultimately prevailed thanks in part to Warley. While it wasn’t his best game offensively, he was disruptive defensively from the jump and eventually got into a nice rhythm by getting some easy transition buckets.

[player_tooltip player_id="687659" first="Zy’Ever" last="Wingfield"] | Team Richmond/Fork Union (VA) ‘21

[caption id="attachment_1031245" align="alignnone" width="300"] Wingfield got after it this morning[/caption]

Wingfield’s athleticism and effort were a huge reason why Team Richmond was able to hang with Durant today. He showed no fear and proved that he can compete at a high level.
