6’2 [player_tooltip player_id="933813" first="Race" last="Young"] (Herriman) Last season race averaged 5 & 2 as a sharp shooter but he always found ways to get to the basket. This next year Race’s scoring production should increase as will his versatility to find different ways to score. Race is a high quality defender that it tough on the ball. Race will be on the radar heading into his senior year. Especially with his ability to play at both ends of the court. 6’3 [player_tooltip player_id="755628" first="Keigan" last="Phung"] (Woods Cross) Keigan was not able to see a lot of minutes due to the 10 seniors that were ahead of him in the rotation. Keigan is a strong body guard that can really cause damage on the blocks. He has an improved jumper. Keigan has some skill that can really catapult him into having a solid senior year. 6’8 [player_tooltip player_id="967725" first="Jaxon" last="Heiden"] (Alta) The Class of 2022 lanky SF has a shot to really make a name for himself because he has length to rebound and finish above the rim. He has some athletic ability as he can really get up. Jaxon has some ball handling ability. he will get a lot of opportunities as the defense will shift to a teammate which should allow him some looks at the rim. Jaxon can step out and shoot it as well. 6’4 Esafe Taufahema (West Jordan) The incoming 11th grader put up some nice numbers last season 6 & 5. He is an undersized C but he has a lot of energy and fight as he is able to hold his own against taller opponents. He could turn into a 10 rebound a game player this up coming season. 5’11 Matty Rodriguez (Juan Diego) Matty is an underrated guard in the Class of 2021. He can shoot the ball well from range and can be a viable guard that can handle the ball. He has a high IQ on both ends of the floor. He is streaky shooter that can really hurt any defense with his ability to shoot and carve his way to the basket with his crafty play.
