Prep Hoops takes a look at some 2021 class members from the Hoop State that played well in the Phenom Summer Havoc this past weekend in Rock Hill, SC. Lets take a look at some of these guards in this article right here.

[player_tooltip player_id="574459" first="Kadyn" last="Dawkins"] - Eastern Guilford HS - Cobras 2021 (pictured on the front)

Dawkins really lets the game come to him while on the floor. Dawkins logs a lot of minutes and never seems to leave the floor. Dawkins has a shifty handle and a great pull-up jumper in transition. Dawkins was able to connect on several three pointers here in a game vs Team Denver. Dawkins had a unofficial 33 points according to my scoring.

[player_tooltip player_id="1006288" first="Lamont" last="McNeill Jr"] - Winston Salem-Christian - Manzer

McNeill Jr was on loan for the weekend for the Grand Strand base team. McNeill Jr generally plays with the Lions 2.0 (consist of all Winston-Salem Christian kids). McNeill Jr is a 94 feet player and really keeps the ball low to the floor. McNeill Jr has scoring on his mind and isn't afraid to put up some shots in return. McNeill Jr is a pesky defender and really likes to create some havoc and cheapies in transition. McNeill Jr changes directions very well and has the ability to create off the dribble.

[player_tooltip player_id="1006292" first="Troy" last="Fulton"] - Lincoln Charter - Team Denver

Fulton has a great shot release out on the perimeter. Fulton likes to set up shop in the corners and knockdown three pointers from the corner. Fulton was very efficient with his shot selection today.

[player_tooltip player_id="838070" first="Jordan" last="McPhatter"] - Butler HS - Anthony Morrow Elite

McPhatter a left-handed point guard was able to distribute the ball to his teammates while penetrating-kicking to the open man. McPhatter connected on some mid-range jumpers. McPhatter came around the corner at the times attacked the basket. McPhatter set up his teammates very well with his crisp passes.

[player_tooltip player_id="932046" first="Michael" last="Dulin"] - Phillip O'Berry HS (Charlotte) - [program_tooltip program_id='2078471' first='Carolina' last='Riptide']

Dulin did most of his damage attacking the basket and just constant effort points. Dulin was constantly around the ball and collecting tip ins and loose balls. Dulin has a great nose for the ball and wasn't afraid to get on the floor or take a charge.
