The Unity Legends Showcase featured a lot of talent that compete on multiple different levels. Players from big-time prep schools to smaller public high schools came out to the showcase, displaying their full range of talent. The showcase was a great stage as some players rose to the occasion and put out strong performances. Here are the top stock risers from the Unity Legends Showcase.

[player_tooltip player_id="1013005" first="Colin" last="King"], 6’6 SF Seton Hall Prep 2021

King may have arrived late to the opening game for the 17U team, but his impact was felt as he knocked down a pair of three-pointers in the second half. The 6’6 forward was more aggressive in the second game as he attacked the basket hard. King used his body to finish through contact around the rim and attempted to dunk in traffic on more than one occasion. He handled the ball well on the perimeter and played solid post defense. King is a talented wing prospect who is a great option for the 17U team.

[player_tooltip player_id="931029" first="Chase" last="Clarke"], 6’5 SF Newark Academy 2022

Clarke came into the showcase known as a big-time scorer and rebounder, which was on full display during the two games. The 6’5 forward was tough around the basket as he muscled several layups through traffic and fought for offensive rebounds. Clarke did not just score the ball as he made several beautiful passes out to open teammates. His leadership was instrumental in the second game as helped lead the 16U team to a comeback victory over the 16U Black squad. Clarke’s combination of toughness and talent makes him a strong option for the Unity Legends 16U team.

[player_tooltip player_id="1013052" first="Logan" last="Howland"], 6’7 SF/PF Westfield 2022

Howland ended up with the most total points at the showcase as he showed off his versatile offensive game. The 6’7 forward plays with good footwork down low and has a soft touch around the basket. Howland can also step outside and knock down the mid-range jumper. He fights hard on the offensive glass and sets good ball screens. Howland is a skilled forward prospect who should have a strong summer for the 16U Black team.

[player_tooltip player_id="1018552" first="Ezra" last="Budashewitz"], 5’10 PG Westfield 2021

Howland was not the only Blue Devil who had a strong showcase as Budashewitz controlled the pace of both games. The 5’10 guard played with composure on the ball and did not get flustered under pressure. Budashewitz beat his man off the dribble in the half court and made plays in the lane. He played tough on-ball defense and showcased a smooth release on his jumper. Budashewitz is a gritty point guard prospect who is ready to run the offense for the 17U squad.

[player_tooltip player_id="1018568" first="Cameron" last="Campbell"], 5’10 PG Dayton 2022

Campbell was essentially unstoppable during the second half of the second game as he helped will the 16U Legends team to a come back victory. The 5’10 guard attacked the basket strong and knew how to finish around the basket. Campbell has a good handle and made smart decisions with the ball in his hands. He played pesky on-ball defense as he forced multiple turnovers. Campbell is a dynamic guard prospect who is capable of being the lead guard for the 16U Legends team.

Other Players to Watch:

[player_tooltip player_id="1018567" first="Wayne" last="Franklin"], 6’2 CG Wayne Hills 2022

[player_tooltip player_id="1013112" first="Dennis" last="DeMarino"], 6’0 PG Cranford 2021

[player_tooltip player_id="1018553" first="Jack" last="Spellman"],6’8 PF Westfield 2021

[player_tooltip player_id="901988" first="Andrew" last="Stack"], 6’3 SG Madison 2022

[player_tooltip player_id="1013054" first="Tommy" last="Conniff"],6’9 PF Oratory Prep 2022

[player_tooltip player_id="1012968" first="Lucas" last="Pavlounis"], 6’9 PF/C Oratory Prep 2021
