Normally what would’ve been an NCAA LIVE weekend turned out to be a great weekend for basketball in the Greater Houston region. Teams from across the state of Texas and Louisiana competed and left it all on the floor. Here is my bucket getters who played consistent and at a super high level.

[player_tooltip player_id="765903" first="Jamond" last="Vincent"] 6’2" G | Landry-Walker Prep [New Orleans, LA] 2021 - New Orleans Elite

The New Orleans University commit was a big-time scorer for his squad. He played with pace and poise as he was one who ran the show. He scored the ball at all levels on the court but was most dangerous when attacking downhill. Mean first step and a good change of pace that kept defenders on their heels at all times.

[player_tooltip player_id="779861" first="Kaleb" last="Stewart"] 6’3" PG | Atascocita HS [Humble, TX] 2021 - SUPER Stars Elite

Kaleb was one of the most prolific scorers at the event. He scored at the rim, he scored in the mid-range with some tough pull-ups and shot it well from deep as he was contested. About 90% of his buckets he was toughly contested and still was able to get buckets. His recruitment has begun to take off a little bit as he is picking up more D1 offers.

[player_tooltip player_id="773471" first="Demari" last="Williams"] 6’6" W | Tompkins HS [Katy, TX] 2021 - SUPER Stars Elite

Demari played a lot of point-forward for his squad during the event. He was able to get to his spots on the court and knocked down some nice mid-range jumpers. He also got his teammates involved in the game. Finished well around the rim and drew a lot of fouls. Has the frame and smarts for the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id="781882" first="Arterio" last="Morris"] 6’4" PG | Prolific Prep [Napa, CA] 2022 - Texas Swish

Talk about a super athletic guard with great floor vision and a super high motor. Northern California is in for a treat. He was a straight bucket at the event playing on the 16U level, where he dominated every game. He also didn’t hesitate to put an opponent in the rim every chance he got. He shot the ball well also.
