INTRO

Oakland Elite is on of the top non shoe affiliated teams on the Michigan grassroots circuit. The team is composed of committed hard working players as evidenced by their players presence on the fall showcase circuit. They also play winning basketball. This can be seen by the winning records of their players in the regular season, particularly Linden (19-2) and Croswell Lexington (20-1). Below is a brief overview of the roster. It is intentionally brief as I plan on running into this team a lot this summer. Their schedule is at the end and is quite ambitious.

ROSTER

[player_tooltip player_id="811100" first="Blake" last="Lund"] 6’1" Linden A lot to like in this complete point guard prospect. Just a pure winner. Already holds an offers from Concordia and UM Dearborn.

[player_tooltip player_id="814599" first="Jake" last="Lansaw"] 6’2" West Bloomfield Solid guard with some athleticism. Plays on a deep West Bloomfield team that schedules aggressively, so will be tested.

[player_tooltip player_id="814649" first="Josh" last="Rechsteiner"] 6’0" Grand Blanc
[player_tooltip player_id="814645" first="Jack" last="Rechsteiner"] 6’0" Grand Blanc If you’re looking for something to help you tell these guys apart, I can’t help you there. Heady aggressive guards with good range on their shots. Like the West Bloomfield players, they suit up for a high profile team with one of the most difficult schedules in the state. Josh suited up for the Bobcats this past year, Jacob did not.

[player_tooltip player_id="814616" first="Kipras" last="Blazevicius"] 6’5" West Bloomfield Solid do-it-all forward full of intangibles. Like Lansaw, battle tested playing in the OAA-Red and will not lack for exposure.

[player_tooltip player_id="814681" first="Matt" last="Wisniewski"] 6’5" Linden Wide bodied big who does the dirty work for both this squad and Linden in the regular season.

[player_tooltip player_id="986893" first="Tyler" last="Johnson"] 6’5" Croswell-Lexington
[player_tooltip player_id="986894" first="Hunter" last="Soper"] 6’5" Croswell Lexington For the sake of brevity I’m going to lump these two together. While there are differences in their games, they are both very good basketball players. Athletic slashers with shooting ability.

[player_tooltip player_id="814676" first="Reed" last="Schilling"] 6’5" Flushing Big forward with a soft touch from deep. Should take a more prominent role with Flushing as [player_tooltip player_id="789805" first="Landen" last="Moore"] has moved on to the next level with Alma.

[player_tooltip player_id="814572" first="Blake" last="Woodward"] 6’9" Romeo You can’t coach size and this young man has plenty. Due to it, he could rocket up recruiting boards with a big summer.

[player_tooltip player_id="863991" first="Reichen" last="Lund"] 6’1 Linden Blake’s younger brother and the only 2022 on the team. An excellent player in his own right who has earned his spot on the team with performance. Slightly bigger frame but an equally good shooter
