Preview – Michigan Cagers 17u

<h2>INTRO</h2> <p>The Michigan Cagers 17u team will tip off their summer grassroots season this weekend. They are a team that scouts and coaches should keep an eye on. The Cagers are coached by cagey veteran John Strong. Under his tutelage, the players are sure to improve and will play smart and efficient basketball.</p> <p><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2020/06/FeaturedImage5.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1003770" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2020/06/FeaturedImage5-300x168.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="168" /></a></p> <p>The team has a wide array of talent. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="814674" first="Jaylen" last="Hodges"] </strong>is a fantastic athlete that can take over in transition. <strong>Michael Calhoun </strong>is a strong and physical force in the paint. <strong>Devan Wilson </strong>is a do it all veteran that will add scoring punch. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="814614" first="Jesse" last="Lawson"] </strong>is a versatile and athletic perimeter player while <strong>Michael Cemezar </strong>will add a high IQ ball handler. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="980065" first="Ryan" last="Brenner"] </strong>brings size to the backcourt and <strong>Spencer Willman </strong>gives the squad an energy player. <strong>Jovantae Jones </strong>and <strong>Makhi McCombs </strong>are both underrated athletes that are grinders on the court. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="789841" first="Isiah" last="Harris"] </strong>is another high IQ player that could be on the verge of really busting out next season. 6 of the players on the roster are ranked by Prep Hoops Michigan.
