<p>In an effort to provide new and unique ways to cover prospects, we thought it would be important to give some coverage to those that might not always get it. To do that, we will be digging deep into each conference in the state.</p>
<p>We will be breaking down each conference starting with the Class of 2021 first to show college coaches who they need to be placing a value on heading into the year.</p>
<p>We will continue to go through each conference to try and hit as many players as possible with the hopes of helping these seniors-to-be catch the attention of prospective college coaches. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="796144" first="Luke" last="Rankin"] - Dallas Center-Grimes</strong></p>
<p>All [player_tooltip player_id="796144" first="Luke" last="Rankin"] did as a junior for Dallas Center-Grimes was produce a team-high 154 assists, sporting a nearly four-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio.</p>
<p>Rankin, who had just 41 turnovers in all, also scored 325 points with 73 steals and 61 rebounds. He shot over 48 percent from the floor and made 34 three-pointers. </p>
<p>Paired with Class of 2022’s [player_tooltip player_id="682270" first="Cole" last="Glasgow"], the Mustangs have a formidable duo for the coming season. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="964832" first="Caden" last="Rehmeier"] - Indianola</strong></p>
<p>Indianola finished last season with 19 wins and a 12-2 conference record, advancing to the Class 4A substate semifinals before falling to Johnston. </p>
<p>While leading scorer [player_tooltip player_id="801934" first="AJ" last="Toigo"] graduates, the Indians have top rebounder [player_tooltip player_id="964832" first="Caden" last="Rehmeier"] back to lead the charge.</p>
<p>Rehmeier, a member of the Class of 2021, scored 287 points on 51 percent shooting from the floor and 44 percent shooting from the three-point line. He had 108 total rebounds and 26 assists, while also making 94 percent of his free throws.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="796167" first="Grant" last="Nelson"] - Pella</strong></p>
<p>It was a big year for Pella’s [player_tooltip player_id="796167" first="Grant" last="Nelson"] on the hardwood.</p>
<p>The Class of 2021’s Nelson recorded 240 points with 113 rebounds, 49 assists, 33 steals and a handful of blocked shots for the Dutch. </p>
<p>Nelson shot almost 45 percent from the field and knocked down 33 three-pointers. He was also effective at the free throw line, sinking 70 percent of his 47 attempts. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="964840" first="Alex" last="Thomas"] - Dallas Center-Grimes</strong></p>
<p>Dallas Center-Grimes was on the doorstep to reaching the Class 3A state tournament last year before coming up against Norwalk in a substate final.</p>
<p>The Mustangs won 17 games and will lean on returning players like [player_tooltip player_id="964840" first="Alex" last="Thomas"] to duplicate that success.</p>
<p>Thomas scored 209 points with a team-leading 116 rebounds, adding 24 assists, 20 blocks and 10 steals. He shot almost 64 percent from the floor and 61 percent at the charity stripe. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="964924" first="Owen" last="Coffman"] - Grinnell</strong></p>
<p>A true inside presence, Grinnell’s [player_tooltip player_id="964924" first="Owen" last="Coffman"] looks to build off his fine junior season.</p>
<p>Coffman scored 187 points with a team-leading 157 rebounds last year, shooting 49 percent from the field. He also produced 44 assists and blocked 31 shots for the Tigers. </p>
<p>Four of the five main starters for Grinnell are in the Class of 2021, as the program looks to soar high this coming winter. </p>
