Omaha- Sunday brought about the final day of action from the #HardworkSZN Classic in Omaha. Here are some standout performers from the day’s action at both the UBT Sports Complex and The Courts at the MARK.

[player_tooltip player_id="890574" first="Isaac" last="Traudt"]- Lincoln Supreme National 16U/Grand Island

Just as I figured he would come into the tournament, [player_tooltip player_id="890574" first="Isaac" last="Traudt"] capped off a huge week for himself in style. He exploded for 32 points in the 16U Grit Bracket Championship matchup against Illinois Hoop Stars and was making the game look easy. Whether it was bringing the ball up the floor going coast to coast, in the midrange, or from 3, he reminded everybody in the gym why he received offers from the likes of Notre Dame, Oklahoma State, Iowa State, Oklahoma, Stanford, and Wisconsin just in the last week. He moves extremely well both with and without the ball in his hand, and with two high school seasons left to play, his trajectory looks to continue to trend upwards.

[player_tooltip player_id="890577" first="Cale" last="Jacobsen"]-Lincoln Supreme National 16U/Ashland-Greenwood

Jacobsen and [player_tooltip player_id="890574" first="Isaac" last="Traudt"] are a tough duo for anyone to stop, and that was once again the case this weekend. Jacobsen did whatever he wanted to do in the Grit Bracket championship game, and was all over the court all weekend long for Supreme. Whether it was finding open teammates, crashing the glass on both ends, catching and finishing alley-oop dunks, or getting to the rim and finishing strong, He had 25 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists in Supreme’s first game of the day against South Dakota Venom, and followed that up with 19 points in the championship game against Illinois Hoops Stars. Jacobsen did a bit of everything all weekend long. Jacobsen is both tough and incredibly smart as a 6’3 combo guard, who thrives in getting to the rim and drawing contact.

[player_tooltip player_id="981706" first="Ben" last="Hunzeker"]-Lincoln Supreme National 16U/Lincoln Southwest

The 6’3 guard from Lincoln Southwest had some tough finishes at the rim in the championship matchup with Illinois Hoops Stars and finished the game with 13 points after scoring 12 earlier in the day against South Dakota Venom. He also defended well whenever he was on the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id="1015812" first="Luke" last="Skar"]-Hoffman’s Hoops Academy 17U/Omaha Skutt Catholic

Skar had 22 points a win for HHA over Illinois Hoops Stars Elite-Nelson on Sunday morning. He came into the weekend as one of my 17Us to watch in this event and finished off the weekend in style.

[player_tooltip player_id="1015813" first="Derek" last="Merwick"]- Hoffman’s Hoops Academy 17U/Elkhorn South

In that same game, point guard [player_tooltip player_id="1015813" first="Derek" last="Merwick"] had himself 30 points to finish his weekend off strong. Merwick was strong all weekend for HHA and showed that he’s a fundamentally sound point guard who can facilitate an offense well and score the basketball.

HHA @DerekMerwick is a complete PG. passing, shooting, finishing at the rim, pnr and competing on defense.
