#GrindSznKickoff: Class of 2021 Forwards

<p>Prep Hoops Missouri takes a look at the top Class of 2022 forwards from Missouri at last weekend’s #GrindSznKickoff in Oklahoma City:</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="824157" first="Collin" last="Parker"] 6’7" Missouri Elite: A skilled post player who scored well throughout the weekend. His game is more finesse than power as he can score around the basket, but he can also take his game to the perimeter to take advantage of his shooting and passing skills. He has gotten bigger and stronger over the course of his career. Attends Montgomery County.</p> <p>Karter Koenig 6’6" Missouri Mavericks: A big-bodied post player from Westran who plays the old-school back to the basket game and he plays it very well. He keeps it nice and simple. He catches the ball and scores on strong drop step moves with the left hand. He establishes position well and also maneuvers around the paint well with his good footwork.</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="985223" first="Jordan" last="Mertens"] 6’7" 34Hoops: A solid big from DeSoto who has gotten bigger and stronger over the course of the past two years. He was very active on the offensive boards, including one game I watched where he had five offensive rebounds in one half. He held his own in the post against some opposing talented bigs during the weekend.</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="535624" first="Tyce" last="Laubinger"] 6’10" 34Hoops: A developmental big from Park Hills Central who has continued to show improvement over the course of the year. He is a solid rebounder who has a good presence on the defensive end with his size. He is steadily working and he has picked up a couple of Division III offers for his efforts.</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="984329" first="Cleveland" last="Washington"] 6’2" St. Louis Blazers: A hard-working forward from Lutheran North who plays inside on a team full of guards. He relishes the action as he plays with a big motor as he outworks bigger players for rebounds and loose balls.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
