One Player To Watch: Lincoln Hale Lincoln Hale 6'5" | SG Linton-Stockton | 2021 State IN
Lincoln may very well be the top player in 1A and 2A in the state of Indiana, and he will be an absolutely must watch player this summer as well. The Indiana State commit is very strong and very efficient when attacking the rim, as that is definitely the best part of his game. He has also improved on his jumper quite a bit which has allowed him to become a multi-dimensional scorer. In games that he makes a couple jumpers early, he seems to play his best basketball. So, if he can do that this summer, he will be a must-watch player.
One Player We Need To See More: Hagen Knepp Hagen Knepp 6'4" | SF Barr-Reeve | 2022 State IN
Hagen is an wing that has just continued to improve every time out on the court. He loves to attack the rim off the dribble, and he can finish through contact with the best of them. He is incredibly athletic and lean, so he can slice and cut through the defense with ease. We haven’t seen much of a jumper, but he can knock down shots from the mid-range. I think he has a lot of growing and muscle-building ahead of him, so if we see him do that, he will be a top-level prospect in his class.
One Player That Should Surprise: Silas Bauer Silas Bauer 6'5" | PF Loogootee | 2021 State IN
Silas is a wing forward who loves to play near the hoop. Over the high school season, he improved immensely as a post scorer, and he also knows when to time his cuts to the hoop to catch the defenders off guard. When he rebounds the basketball, it just seems like he has a knack to know exactly where the ball is going to come off of the basket. If he can continue to play well in the post this summer and add in his outside jumper, he could be a breakout player that will surprise quite a few people.
