GASO Duncanville: 2022 and 2023 Sleepers

<p>For the second straight weekend, AAU basketball was played in Dallas. After a great first weekend with the Dallas Showtyme Classic, it was Great American Shootout’s turn to host a tournament at the Duncanville Fieldhouse. This tournament featured countless talented teams and I had the opportunity to take in the action on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.</p> <p><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2020/07/DSC_0106.jpg"><img class="size-thumbnail wp-image-1008474 alignright" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2020/07/DSC_0106-150x150.jpg" alt="" width="150" height="150" /></a></p> <p><b>[player_tooltip player_id="1008477" first="Devank" last="Rane"] - 3D Empire - G</b></p> <p>Rane is a point guard that is an excellent shooter and a good passer. He gives his team a spark off the bench and gets his teammates involved. Rane also has a strong handle and takes care of the ball. He has deep range and can get hot quickly from downtown.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1008525" first="Joshua" last="Escheik"] - Top Acheivers Elite - G</strong></p> <p>Joshua "Coco" Escheik is a playmaking guard that has a high basketball I.Q. He is a good finisher around the rim and has a good handle. Escheik is a true point guard that makes everyone around him better. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1008526" first="Noah" last="McKinney"] - 3D Empire - F</strong></p> <p>McKinney does all of the little things well for 3D Empire and plays hard. He rebounds on both ends and is a decent finisher. He also always talks on defense and makes a huge impact on that end of the floor every time that he checks in. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1008528" first="Cameron" last="Williams"] - Dallas Showtyme - F</strong></p> <p>Williams is a big forward that is a monster in the paint. He is an excellent rebounder and anchors the paint for his team. Williams is also a good low post defender and is extremely strong. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1008529" first="Jordan" last="Mason"] - Strength N Motion - G</strong></p> <p>Mason is a guard with a nice handle and great quickness. He is a strong finisher that uses his quickness to blow by defenders and finish around the rim. He is also a solid defender that plays the passing lanes and anticipates passes. Mason is a willing passer that gets his teammates involved.</p>
