Prep Hoops has taken in the past 2 days at Big Shots-Myrtle Beach. Prep Hoops is going to take a look at some 2022 Palmetto State players in this article. Who were some players that stood out in the first 2 days from Myrtle Beach ? Read more right here.

[player_tooltip player_id="837335" first="Drake" last="Downs"] - Big Shots CPA 2022 - Mauldin HS (pictured on the front)

Downs continues to grow playing a bit more face-up to the basket. Downs was able to put the ball on the deck today and was able to connect on some 16-18 footers. Downs has shown improvement this past high season to present. Downs has a good upside and has the ability to post up down low on the block. Downs will look to add some more depth to the Mavericks roster this coming season with the likes of [player_tooltip player_id="746977" first="Jameson" last="Tucker"], [player_tooltip player_id="569888" first="James" last="Cooper"], [player_tooltip player_id="927514" first="Nic" last="Williams"] and [player_tooltip player_id="840255" first="Daniel" last="Stratford"].

[player_tooltip player_id="1017697" first="Josh" last="Linder"] - Big Shots CPA 2022 - Spartanburg HS

Linder is a new name for us at Prep Hoops. Linder 6’7 runs the floor very well and isn’t afraid to mix it up down low in the paint. Prep Hoops saw Spartanburg HS play 3 times this past season and NOT one note on this kid. Linder was a mystery to me today. Linder a left-handed forward runs the floor very well and isn’t afraid to block some shots on the defensive end. Linder will be a name I will add down the road to the rankings somewhere and look for him to keep on improving. Linder and Downs give this Big Shots CBA squad some good size in the front court.

[player_tooltip player_id="930619" first="EJ" last="Huffman"] - Big Shots Elite SC Premier 2022 - Conway HS

Huffman and his mates ran into a buzz saw against B. Maze Elite. Huffman has really started to fill out with his body. Huffman isn’t afraid to draw contact and rebound the ball on both ends of the floor. Huffman has great hands and can step-out to connect on the short jumper. Huffman missed some time last year with a injury for the Tigers.
