Shooters from all across Georgia converged at LakePoint Sports for the A-Town Showdown. Here’s who lit the nets on fire.

2021 6-1 SG [player_tooltip player_id="1020670" first="Max" last="Smith"] – HYPE 2021 – West Forsyth

Instant offense off the bench, the defense had to mark [player_tooltip player_id="1020670" first="Max" last="Smith"] from beyond the arc. Smith got red-hot against SPSA Runs and nearly helped HYPE erase a 13-point deficit before falling short. He drilled four threes in the second half and had the green light with his accurate trigger. He’s the perfect shooter to bust zones and stretch out the defense.

2022 6-5 W [player_tooltip player_id="952587" first="Trey" last="Harris"] – SBT – North Paulding

[player_tooltip player_id="952587" first="Trey" last="Harris"] lit it up from the mid-range and three-point line. He’s got a cool nonchalant demeanor about him, but don’t take him lightly. He had poured in 27 points to start the tournament and stayed hot the entire weekend. As a pick-and-pop wing, he really found his groove.

2021 5-11 CG [player_tooltip player_id="869611" first="Shamar" last="Norman"] – Savannah Select – Windsor Forest

One of Savannah’s best bucket getters got hot vs. SOH Elite. He sprayed three threes and got his offense from well beyond the three-point line. Norman profiled as both a catch-and-shoot and off the dribble scorer. He’s got an easy stroke and great range. Norman’s toughness getting to the basket helps diversify his offensive game. He pumped in 26 in the close loss.

2021 6-1 SG [player_tooltip player_id="1020671" first="Dylan" last="Pumpian"] – SEBA FCI Warriors – Walton

Maybe the prettiest shot at the event, [player_tooltip player_id="1020671" first="Dylan" last="Pumpian"]’s pure stroke was near automatic when left open. He has a lightning quick release and doesn’t need much space to fire accurately. Pumpian wasn’t just a standstill shooter, he was able to put the ball on the floor with a limited amount of dribbles to find a clean look. He hit a few pull-ups from downtown when he was feeling it.

2021 5-11 PG [player_tooltip player_id="754331" first="Brookes" last="Kahlert"] – ATL Timberwolves White – St. Pius X

Kahlert ended the tournament with a 7-three outburst in the championship, going for 26 points. Able to play off the ball more with the Timberwolves, Kahlert found open looks from deep and proved his offense is dangerous when not having to worry about setting the table so much.

2021 6-0 PG [player_tooltip player_id="806726" first="Broc" last="Bidwell"] – Atlanta All-Stars – Milton

[player_tooltip player_id="806726" first="Broc" last="Bidwell"] provided consistent play at point guard, balancing both his scoring and playmaking. He’s got a craftiness about him when probing defenses and knows how to get teammates involved. When he called his own number, he was dialed in from deep. Bidwell is a legitimate three-level scorer and a savvy veteran.
