Prep Hoops Missouri takes a look at some of the top Class of 2021 wings who are flying under the radar.

[player_tooltip player_id="824149" first="Seth" last="Larsen"] 6’5" Hickman: A very skilled big-bodied wing player who poses tremendous matchup problems with his size and versatility. He uses his big body to score well in the low post against smaller defenders, but he loves to roam the perimeter where he can showcase his slick handles, escape moves and ability to get buckets.

[player_tooltip player_id="985216" first="Lavar" last="Felder"] 6’3" St. Joe Central: A long and lanky skilled lefty who has the ability to score with smooth takes to the basket. He has a quick first step and he can change speeds to keep defenders off balance on the way to the rim. He has an effective floater with both hands and a comfortable stroke from 3-point territory.

[player_tooltip player_id="824204" first="Nate" last="Parker"] 6’4" Eureka: A solid all-around wing player who plays a very unselfish game. He does a variety of things to help his team succeed. He is a good defensive player who keeps the ball moving on offense and rebounds his position. He is always in the right position to make a positive play. As a junior, he averaged 10 points, four rebounds and two assists a game for a 20-win team.

[player_tooltip player_id="824183" first="Landon" last="Poppa"] 6’4" Mound City: A Class 1 standout in Northwest Missouri who will be back to lead a state contender next season. He has good size and impressive athleticism that is showcased is dunking shot blocking and.ability to dart into the passing lanes. He is most effective when he is attacking the basket. He has been a consistent 20-point scorer since his freshman season.

[player_tooltip player_id="824187" first="Isaiah" last="Johnson"] 6’2" Battle: A dynamic athlete who plays multiple roles to help his team succeed. He can get you a bucket when you need it, but he is very valuable as a rebounder and defender who will bring high energy on every possession.

[player_tooltip player_id="824201" first="Karter" last="Kekec"] 6’1" North County: An athletic two-way wing player who knows how to get buckets. He is a potent offensive player from 17 feet and in with his ability to attack the basket and knock down mid-range jumpers. He can score on those tough takes to the basket through contact and also go coast to coast on the break. He is also a very good defender. He’s an all-around athlete who also plays baseball and football.

[player_tooltip player_id="986530" first="Andrew" last="Ellinghouse"] 6’4" Dexter: One of the top wings in Southeast Missouri, he is a very capable 3-point shooter who excels at moving without the basketball. He is also quite capable of attacking the basket and scoring on twisting drives in traffic.

Rafe Kalberloh 6’3" Lakeland: A very strong and skilled wing who has been a potent scorer by the lake since his freshman year. He is very effective in the high post where he can hit the mid-range jumper, attack off the dribble in traffic or find open teammates with his passing. As a junior, he averaged 24 points a game.

Matt Thompson 6’2 Smith Cotton: A very impressive perimeter shooter with range that extends well beyond the 3-point line.
