Top Players by Region: 1-AAAAAAA

<p>In an effort to cover as much of the state as possible, we will highlight five of the top players in each region across the GHSA as we wait for play to resume.</p> <h2><strong>Region 1-7A<br /> <br /> </strong></h2> <p><strong>1. 2021 6-6 F [player_tooltip player_id="754271" first="Jatarion" last="Warren"] – Tift County</strong></p> <p>Smooth combo-forward that does a lot of damage inside. High motor and relentlessly attacks the offensive glass. Has a high release on his jump shot which he shoots from his ear. Has range out to the three-point line. Can score with his back to the basket with nice footwork and is a quality rim protector that has some bounce. To transition to wing full-time, further developing his ball handling will behoove him. Averaged 13.6 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.4 steals. <em><strong><a href="http://www.hudl.com/v/2D6YQU">HIGHLIGHTS</a></strong></em></p> <p><strong>2. 2022 6-1 G Dy Williams – Colquitt County</strong></p> <p>Knockdown lefty that drilled 50-107 (47%) threes. Exceptional rebounder for his size. Shifty ball handler getting downhill. Averaged 9.6 points and 6.3 rebounds. <em><strong><a href="http://www.hudl.com/v/2DJEbL">HIGHLIGHTS</a></strong></em></p> <p><strong>3. 2022 6-2 SG Azaria Smith – Tift County</strong></p> <p>Athletic off-guard with a good burst of speed. More of a slasher than a shooter. Has a slow set shot from deep. Tough finisher at the rim, knows how to avoid shot blockers. Put up 9.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.4 steals per game. <em><strong><a href="http://www.hudl.com/v/2DJf6U">HIGHLIGHTS</a></strong></em></p> <p><strong>4. 2021 5-10 G Amarion Jackson – Camden County</strong></p> <p>Scrappy guard that takes pride in his defense. Hustler understands his role as a defender and distributor. Breaks down the defense and creates open looks for teammates. Does a good job moving the ball around and setting up teammates. Equipped with a floater when attacking the basket. Uses mid-range game. Can get into passing lanes and start fast breaks.
