This is a list of some of the top Senior hoopers in Lincoln. We’re now featuring some fellas within the class of 2021. These are players that all collegiate coaches, and hoops fans need to make a priority to check out next season. I would also highly recommend their hudl highlights. These young men have talents that will stretch far beyond the Nebraska borders but will be a treat to watch this next season.

[player_tooltip player_id="890462" first="Ajantae" last="Hogan"] 6’4 Lincoln Southeast- Hogan is a combination of speed and power. He can get to the rim at will against opponents. Hogan also has a great mid-range pull up game that is rarely seen in kids today. Hogan also attacks screens like a seasoned vet with his ability to change speeds and go shoulder to shoulder off the screen is amazing. If you choose to play zone against Hogan look for him to find space for a backdoor alley-oop dunk or splashing a 3 from long distance. Hogan is simply a bucket getter. This kid is GOOD! 18.1 PPG 5.6 RPG

McGinnis Schneider 6’2 Lincoln Southeast- Schneider is a playmaker for the Knights. He led the Knights in assists last season but can also score the ball. He is a lights out shooter from 3 point range but also has some flashy moves when he decides to drive the ball. Schneider plays with a ton of confidence and is a fun player to watch.

Taveon Thompson 6’4 Lincoln Southeast- Thompson is an absolute monster around the hoop. Thompson’s super strength allows him to play much bigger than his 6’4 frame on the basketball court. If a bigger defender guards Thompson he simply will use his speed to blow by the taller defender, if a smaller defender takes on the matchup, Thompson will own him in the post.

[player_tooltip player_id="890564" first="Carter" last="Glen"]n 5’11 Lincoln East Glenn is a very quick lefty who can shoot the ball from anywhere inside of the gym. Glenn has the ability to get by defenders and finish at the rim. Glenn is absolutely lethal from downtown as well. Glenn is a tricky player to guard and will have all opposing coaches trying to figure out ways to slow him down. 14.2 PPG 4.2A/PG 40%FG

Drew Beukelman 6’6 Lincoln Christian At 6 foot 6 Beukelman moves extremely well and shoots the ball at a super high level. Beukelman played a huge role in the Crusaders State Tournament squad. However, he will play a much bigger role as a senior. In my opinion this kid may have one of the best jumps from Junior to Senior year in the state.

[player_tooltip player_id="958183" first="Livon" last="Ramsey"] Lincoln High- Ramsey led the Links in rebounds blocks and steals per game last season. Ramsey is one of the top defensive players in the state of Nebraska. He has a knack for getting deflections and taking the ball the other way for two.

Max Bartels 6’0 Lincoln Lutheran- Bartels is a multi-sport stud who has some very impressive film for hoops and football. This is a tough kid who you do not want to leave open. One of my favorite things about Bartels is whenever he is left open opposing coaches immediately start screaming at the team. Don’t leave this kid open!
