Preview: Strictly Skills 17u

<h2>INTRO</h2> <p>Strictly Skills has been a highly influential program, not just in southwest Michigan, but in the state as a whole. They have a very talented 17u squad that’s ready to hit the courts. The team features elite shooters, scorers, and floor generals in the backcourt. They have toughness in the paint and speed everywhere on the court. He  can carry the scoring load as well as distribute. Jergens is a very high basketball IQ player.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="969532" first="Gavin" last="Ette"]r (2021, 6’3", G, Marcellus)</strong></p> <p>Etter has been a hot name this calendar year. He’s established himself as one of the best pure shooters in the state. Etter is a must see prospect for Strictly Skills.</p> <p><strong>Finley Tate (2021, 5’9", G, Paw Paw)</strong></p> <p>Tate will be a weapon on the offensive end for this team. He’s an excellent shooter with 3 point range. Tate is also an athletic scorer that can create looks.</p> <p><strong>Mitchell Mason (2021, 5’10", G, Paw Paw)</strong></p> <p>Mason will bring a grittiness and toughness to the roster. He’s a fast player that will be a factor in the open floor. Mason could have a breakout summer.</p> <p><strong>Dante Bailey (2021, 5’10", G, Mendon)</strong></p> <p>Bailey is a smooth moving athlete that has good feet on both ends. He has a knack for delivering when he gets a look from behind the arc.</p> <p><strong>Ryan Young (2022, 6’4", G/F, Buchanan)</strong></p> <p>Young will cause issues for his opponents this grassroots season. He does a little of everything well, showing off a very solid all around game.</p> <p><strong>Andre Whiteside (2021, 6’5", F, Parchment)</strong></p> <p>Whiteside will be a very valuable player on the Strictly Skills roster. He’s a physical and tough scorer on the inside and has a nice mid range game.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="986745" first="Kaden" last="Johnson"] (2022, 6’7", F, Hartford)</strong></p> <p>Johnson is a player to keep your eyes on. He’s grown about 6 inches since the spring and will be a new player training with the coaches at Strictly Skills. He’s a good passer and has 3 point range on his jumper.</p> <p><strong>Brennan Bornas (2022, 5’9", G, Watervliet)</strong></p> <p>Bornas effectively uses his speed as a weapon on the basketball court. He’s a pass first point guard that always looks to feed the open man.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
