<p>Prep Hoops Missouri continues its positional breakdowns with a look at the top combo forwards in the Class of 2021. These players can work in the low post while also being able to operate on the perimeter.</p> <p>Omarion Henry 6’7" Normandy: An explosive forward who had a productive junior year who is still scratching the surface of his vast potential. He is very skilled with the ability to take the ball off the boards and go coast to coast to throw down a dunk or drop a dime to an open teammate. He has a nice touch around the basket and is very comfortable with the ball on the perimeter. He averaged 17 points, 10 rebounds and three assists a game as a junior. He has a Division I offer from Tennessee-Martin.</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="994435" first="Trevon" last="Brazile"] 6’7" Parkview: A long athletic performer has the combination of length, versatility, skills and a big upside to go with it. He has nice handles and the ability to drive and knock down 3-pointers. He is also a good shot blocker with the length to impact a game on the defensive end. As a junior, he averaged 11.2 points and five rebounds while shooting 37 percent from 3-point range. He already has Division offers from Cleveland State and Montana State. </p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="994437" first="Tavion" last="Banks"] 6’6" Ruskin: An explosive forward who led Ruskin to a 20-victory season last year. He is capable of making game-changing plays with his athleticism with a big block on the defensive end or an emphatic dunk on offense. he is a triple threat with his ability to score, rebound and block shots. As a junior, he averaged 15.9 points, 10 rebounds, two blocks and two steals a game.</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="824124" first="Jalen" last="Hampton"] 6’5" University City: A very bouncy forward who is very tough to handle around the basket with his athleticism and second-jump ability. He will get out on the break and throw down dunks in transition. He can also step out and beat bigger defenders off the dribble to score at the rim. As a junior, he averaged 16.2 points and 7.7 rebounds in leading a big turnaround at University City.</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="824151" first="Jack" last="Lawson"] 6’6" Lutheran South: A solid all-around forward who led his team to a district championship last season with his versatility. He is a very effective scorer in the low post and he can also pass well enough to run offense through him. He moves well around the basket and can operate well at the high post. As a junior, he averaged 17.4 points, 9.4 rebounds and three assists with 48 blocked shots.</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="824159" first="Jack" last="Pronger"] 6’7" MICDS: A talented Stretch 4 who is an ideal player in the pick-and-pop with his long distance shooting range. He shot 36 percent from 3-point range last season. He is long and rangy and does a nice job of the offensive boards. He has also developed an effective 15-foot jumper off the bounce. As a junior, he averaged 11 points and five rebounds for a conference championship team.</p> <p>Colin Parker 6’7" Montgomery County: A versatile performer who led his team to a conference championship and 25 victories last season. He is very good in the high post area with his ability to pass and hit the 15-footer off the catch. He is also a capble ball handler who can facilitate the offense as a playmaker with the ability to make perimeter jumpers.</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="824191" first="Jason" last="Jones"] 6’6" Nixa: A skilled combo forward who operates well out of the high-post and mid-post area. His turn and face game is excellent as he can knock down the 15 footer or drive by his defender to get buckets while going either left or right. He can also find the open teammate with his pinpoint passing.</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="985219" first="Charlie" last="Bronakowski"] 6’6" Boonville: One of the top forwards in Mid-Missouri, he is a versatile player who creates matchup problems with his size and skill set. He can shoot 3-pointers from the perimeter and get to the basket to score on tough drives. He is also good around the rim with a variety to post moves with good footwork. He is also a very capable passer out of a double team.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
