Prep Hoops Missouri continues its positional breakdowns with a look at the top wings in the Class of 2021. We have broken them down into two categories; the smaller wings that are 6’3" and under and the bigger wings that are 6’4" and above. Here is a look at those 6’3" and under standout wing players.

[player_tooltip player_id="824114" first="[player_tooltip player_id="824115" first="Isaac" last="Haney"] 6’1" Kickapoo: The Class 1 Player of the Year recently made a big move from Dora to Kickapoo, bringing his 31 points and electric bucket-getting ability with him to the Class 5 level. He is an elite scoring threat who unlimited range as shown by the 114 3-pointers that he made during his junior season. The Missouri State commit has already scored more than 2,000 points in his first three varsity season.

[player_tooltip player_id="824123" first="Mario" last="Fleming"] 6’3" Cardinal Ritter: A power guard who lead the Lions to the Class 3 state championship in impressive fashion. He is a tough matchup problem with his ability to score in the post against smaller guards and his continued development as a ball handler and perimeter shooter. As a junior, he averaged 18.7 points and four rebounds while shooting 57 percent from the field and 35 percent from 3-point range.

[player_tooltip player_id="583730" first="Cachao" last="Gianquinto"] 6’3" Battle: A talented scoring guard with good size, good skills and the ability to play at his own pace. His is always under control and does not get rushed at any time. He can get into the lane well and finish at the rim with a soft floater as well. His moves off the bounce are solid and he can knock down open 3-pointers off the catch. He has been an impact player since his freshman year.

[player_tooltip player_id="824127" first="Jeremiah" last="Walker"] 6’2" DeSmet: A strong and crafty guard who is one of the best at getting into the lane and scoring in traffic. He has a terrific spin move among his other nice escape moves to create offense in the mid-range area. He is a also a solid 3-point shooter as he made 40 percent from long distance.

Demarion Shanklin 6’2" Jennings: A smooth lefty who has developed into a very potent scoring threat. He had a strong mid-range game as a youngster, but he has added a solid 3-point stroke to go along with it as well as some nifty handles to create his own shot. He averaged 19.5 points, 3.3 rebounds and nearly three assists a game as a junior.

[player_tooltip player_id="824140" first="Isaiah" last="Williams"] 6’2" Lutheran North: A smooth lefty scoring guard who has the ability to get buckets at all three levels. He can score on acrobatic drives to the basket while pulling up to knock down 15 footers off the bounce. He can also hit a 3-pointer if the defense backs off of him. He averaged 12.7 points a game in helping the Crusaders to a Class 3 district championship.

[player_tooltip player_id="824141" first="Cameron" last="Liggins"] 6’2" Kickapoo: An emerging talent who came on strong late in the season in helping the Chiefs to a berth in the Class 5 Final Four. He has good slashing moves to the basket combined with 3-point range to make him a potent scoring threat. He averaged nearly 25 points a game during Kickapoo’s run to the Final Four.

[player_tooltip player_id="824147" first="Kaleb" last="Wofford"] 6’2" Nixa: A smooth shooting guard who has one of the most impressive 3-strokes in Southwest Missouri. He has a nice release and his shots barely touch the rim. He also has a nice two-dribble pull up jumper and an effective floater in the lane to compliment his long range marksmanship.

[player_tooltip player_id="824153" first="Malik" last="Johnson"] 6’3" North Kansas City: A long and lean shooting guard with a creative game off the dribble. He can slither his body into the lane for layups and floaters or pull up for mid-range jumpers and 3-pointers. He can also use his length to create steals at the defensive end.

[player_tooltip player_id="824158" first="Barcus" last="Jackson"] 6’2" Lift for Life: A solid two-way guard who can impact the game at both ends of the court. He loves to defend and rebound as shown by his two steals and seven rebounds a game that he averaged as a junior. He can score to perimeter jumpers and solid drives as he averaged 13 points a game.

[player_tooltip player_id="824160" first="Myles" last="Estrada"] 6’1" Francis Howell Central: A very resourceful offensive player who finds many ways to score and get things done. He really knows how to operate without the ball and get himself open for opportunities. He can knock down 3-pointers and also score in the low post where he can use his strong body.
