<p>In an effort to provide new and unique ways to cover prospects, we thought it would be important to give some coverage to those that might not always get it. To do that, we will be digging deep into each conference in the state.</p>
<p>We will be breaking down each conference starting with the Class of 2021 first to show college coaches who they need to be placing a value on heading into the year.</p>
<p>We will continue to go through each conference to try and hit as many players as possible with the hopes of helping these seniors-to-be catch the attention of prospective college coaches. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="796119" first="Dylan" last="Johnson"] - Western Dubuque</strong></p>
<p>It was a difficult season in the win-loss column for Western Dubuque, but Class of 2021’s [player_tooltip player_id="796119" first="Dylan" last="Johnson"] did everything he could to help lead them on the court.</p>
<p>Johnson was the top scorer for the Bobcats, posting almost 16 points per game and 6.5 rebounds. He shot over 44 percent from the field, 35 percent from the three-point line and 81 percent at the free throw stripe. </p>
<p>Along with making a team-high 40 three-pointers, he also had 53 assists, 19 steals and 18 blocks. Johnson finished with 348 points and 143 total rebounds. </p>
<p><strong>Ramir Scott - Waterloo East</strong></p>
<p>When Waterloo East needed a bucket, Ramir Scott was typically the guy they looked to.</p>
<p>Scott scored over 15 points per game this past season, as the Class of 2021 shooter knocked down over 42 percent of his shots. He also buried 49 three-pointers for the Trojans with 63 rebounds, 55 assists and 37 steals. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="964860" first="Garrett" last="Baumhover"] - Western Dubuque</strong></p>
<p>As a junior, [player_tooltip player_id="964860" first="Garrett" last="Baumhover"] dished out a team-high 82 assists for Western Dubuque, adding 282 points. He shot just under 41 percent from the field and made 32 three-pointers, also knocking down 80.5 percent of his free throws.</p>
<p>Baumhover added in 72 rebounds, 40 steals and even blocked six shots for the Bobcats. </p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="964827" first="Kendrick" last="Watkins-Hogue"] - Dubuque Senior</p>
<p>Also a standout on the football field, Dubuque Senior’s [player_tooltip player_id="964827" first="Kendrick" last="Watkins-Hogue"] helped the Rams go 19-4 last year and reach a substate final.</p>
<p>Watkins-Hogue finished as the leading scorer for Dubuque Senior, posting just under 12 points per game. He shot 53 percent from the field and almost 41 percent from the three-point line, as they placed just a half-game back of Cedar Falls in the division.</p>
<p>Along with his 261 total points, Watkins-Hogue also had 81 rebounds, 46 steals and 22 assists. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="796111" first="Caleb" last="Schlaak"] - Cedar Rapids Kennedy</strong></p>
<p>Leading scorer and rebounder [player_tooltip player_id="796111" first="Caleb" last="Schlaak"] returns for Cedar Rapids Kennedy this coming season.</p>
<p>Schlaak averaged 17 points and almost six boards a game last year, shooting over 51 percent from the field and 75 percent at the free throw line. He finished with 395 total points, 131 rebounds, 45 blocks, 29 assists and 28 steals for the Cougars. </p>
<p>Schlaak received an offer from Upper Iowa this past spring.</p>
