<p>Prep Hoops Missouri continues its spotlight on grassroots teams with a look at the Southwest Illinois Jets 17U team, which is based in metro east Illinois just outside of St. Louis. The Illinois-based program annually has talented players from the St. Louis, MO side of the river on the team.</p>
<p><strong>Missouri Prospects</strong></p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="824132" first="Cole" last="Farrell"] 6’4" Hazelwood Central: Explosive wing player who is one of the most impressive dunkers in the state. He is an excellent slasher who attacks the offensive boards well. He has the tools to be a lock-down defender.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="824142" first="Jaden" last="Winfield"] 6’4" Chaminade: A good-sized wing with a excellent set of fundamentals on the offensive end. He has good athleticism and a high basketball IQ to match. He has a nice looking jump shot with good passing skills.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="986457" first="Marlon" last="Owens"] 5’9" McCluer North: Tough point guard with good quickness and ability to get into the lane and make plays. He finishes well on the the drive and can drop dimes to his open teammates.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="984377" first="Caleb" last="Jones"] 6’2" Hazelwood Central: Athletic wing player who operates well around the basket with his slashing drives and ability to finish in traffic. He is also good at shooting into the passing lanes on defense.</p>
