Here is our Film Room: 2021 Central Illinois Prospects Pt 1!
Matt Williams (Peoria Notre Dame)
Williams is a 6’5” combo forward that has evolved over his career to more of a skilled four. He isn’t the greatest athlete, but what you have to really like about his game is the touch and feel from the mid-post in. Crafty game that allows him to score in the paint. Pick and roll is one of his biggest strengths as a screener and roller. Quality right handed hook shot. Can hit an occasional three point shot spotting up with a bit of a long release over his head. Solid post defender bodying up. Has D2 potential.

Tyvin Garrison (Springfield)
Garrison is a mobile 6’5” power forward that brings athleticism and length to the table. Thin frame that he will need to continue to add strength on. Bouncy around the hoop using his quickness to finish dump off passes and make quick moves. Loves to utilize the glass banking in short shots. One area that opened our eyes was knocking down threes. We hadn’t previously seen that. It was a slow, but fluid release. Will elevate game if he can do that on the big stage. High level small college player with upside to move up.

Mac Parmelee Mac Parmelee 6'4" | SG Dunlap | 2021 State IL (Dunlap)
This shooting guard from central Illinois is a crisp shooter that has very good form on his jumper. Gets elevation off the floor on his three point shot. Mixes in straight line drives on occasion where he does a good job of protecting the ball on the gather before the finish. Small college player.

Noah Reynolds Noah Reynolds 6'1" | PG Peoria Notre Dame | 2021 IN (Peoria Notre Dame)
Reynolds is a 6’3” point guard that has solid strength in his upper body. The southpaw plays with good pace and is extremely crafty around the hoop finishing difficult layups. Takes quality angles with the ball in his hands and has a solid feel for the game. Just an average athlete, but gets the job done. Clean looking shot off the catch that can spot up while playing off the ball. Low-majors should take a look.

Shane Miller Shane Miller 6'2" | PG Springfield | 2021 State IL (Springfield)
Miller is a 6’1” point guard that is smooth and confident with the ball in his hands. Very clean looking jump shot with quiet mechanics. Can hit from three, but his pull up game is his biggest strength where he is money coming off the screen. As a slasher he has easy acceleration and the body to take a bump at the rim for a score. Feel finding his teammates in the half court on the move as a distributor. Aggressive cutting passing lanes defensively. Another quality D2 point guard in this class.

Landon Moore
Landon
Moore
7'5" | PG
Bloomington | 2021
IN
(Bloomington)
Moore is one of the better point guards in central Illinois in the 2021 class. The Bloomington guard has such deep range on his three ball and that was abundantly evident in this video. He hit tons of deep threes from well beyond even the college three point arc. Effective pulling up around ball screens for his perimeter jumpers. Crafty game off the bounce and is a quality passer that does it with touch. No doubt D2 prospect.

Jaylen Bryson Jaylen Bryson 7'0" | PF Champaign Centennial | 2021 State IL (Champaign Centennial)
Bryson is an upside 6’8” thin and wiry post. Great length. Combines the inside and outside game along with bringing it on the defensive end. Quick right handed hook shot and is explosive as a dunker around the hoop. Will need to add strength for the next level. Stretches the floor with a clean looking jump shot. Effective shot blocker with good timing. Low-majors should be getting involved here.
