Braeden Carrington Braeden Carrington 6'4" | SG Park Center | 2022 State #141 Nation MN of Park Center (6’3, SG). Carrington has one of the better shooting strokes in the 2022 class which has led to offers from Missouri and Florida. Braeden came off the bench of a deep Pirates team and scored 6.4 points per game. Braeden is a player that we expect to take some major strides both this summer and next winter with PC.
Chase Carter Chase Carter 6'7" | PF Minnehaha Academy | 2022 MN of Minnehaha Academy (6’6, PF). Chase is one of the best 2-sport athletes in the 2022 class having earned high major scholarship offers in both football and basketball. Carter is one of the best back to the basket, and face-up skilled bigs in this class which is impressive enough, but he may be an even better defensive end prospect. Basketball offers from Vanderbilt, Minnesota, and West Virginia, football offers from Iowa State and Nebraska.
Alonzo Dodd Alonzo Dodd 6'2" | CG South St Paul | 2022 State MN of South St. Paul (6’3 Guard/Wing). If you take one thing that I write throughout the month of June, may it be the following words, Alonzo Dodd Alonzo Dodd 6'2" | CG South St Paul | 2022 State MN is one of the most fearless competitors in this state and his teammates will go to battle with him any day of the week. Dodd averaged 25 points, 11-12 boards, and four assists a game this year. Type of guy that you can ask to do just about any task.
Teigan Martin Teigan Martin 6'7" | PF Mayer Lutheran | 2022 MN of Mayer Lutheran (6’8 PF). Martin is one of the more interesting prospects in the 2022 group because he has the right combination of size, agility, and progressive skill level. Martin scored 18.6 points per game as a sophomore combining deep post finishing and mid-range jump shooting into an interesting game. Martin has also improved with the one dribble attack as he’s an agile athlete (Iowa State football offered).
Donovan Smith Donovan Smith 5'10" | PG Minnehaha Academy | 2022 OH of Minnehaha Academy (5’9 Guard). When it comes to shooting, few do it as well as Donovan Smith Donovan Smith 5'10" | PG Minnehaha Academy | 2022 OH . That said, he also did a fine job playing lead guard for the Sizzle last year and will have a chance to do the same thing this summer. Smith shot 44 percent from the arc this year scoring eight points a game for a stacked team.
Demarion Watson Demarion Watson 6'8" | SF Totino-Grace | 2022 State #150 Nation MN of Minnehaha Academy (6’6 SF). If you were to try and bottle the potential of a basketball player, the cylinder holding that of Watson-Saulsberry would be rapidly spilling over the top. This is an agile, explosive wing with great length and ridiculous speed up the floor. An 11 foot hoop? Demarion would have no issues with it. Jumper has looked good in samples too.
Maxsamus Wilson Maxsamus Wilson 6'3" | CG Hopkins | 2023 State MN of South St. Paul (6’3, PG). One of the best three or four freshmen in the state of Minnesota is Max Wilson. Wilson is a big lead guard that averaged 6.4 assists per game while also giving his team 12.5 points per game. For me, I love Wilson’s quick first step combined with his strength to complete his playmaking task possession after possession. Great strength for his age.
Willie Wilson Willie Wilson 6'2" | CG Minneapolis North | 2022 State MN of Minneapolis North (6’2, SG). This spring has at times been a Willie Wilson Willie Wilson 6'2" | CG Minneapolis North | 2022 State MN prospect love fest because of how well his sophomore season went. This is one of the best transition basketball players in the state of Minnesota and if there was an award for “best in transition” given on a stage, Wilson’s name would be on the card. Step back off of Willie, that shooting stroke has improved percentage wise as well. Florida and Hampton offers.
