A look at the players who will make their debut in the next class of 2022 player rankings...

[player_tooltip player_id="988697" first="Gabe" last="Ascher"] - Point Guard - Wautoma

Only 5-foot-7, but can flat out score the rock. Averaged 17.1 points per game and hit 51 3-pointers as a sophomore. Very speedy and crafty when he’s on the ball. Makes up for his lack of size with excellent touch around the rim and extended range from beyond the arc. When he goes to the bucket, understands how to shield himself from shot blockers and adjust his shooting motion/arc to get a clean look.

[player_tooltip player_id="988698" first="Josiah" last="Butler"] - Shooting Guard - Fox Valley Lutheran

Coming off a big 2019-20 season in which he averaged 16.9 points per game. Fluid shot maker that isn’t bothered by a hand in his face. Crafty ball handler that likes to use tight coverage to his advantage, getting defenders flowing one way, only to hit back with some sort of counter. Three-level scorer with a nice bag of tricks at his disposal.

[player_tooltip player_id="988962" first="C.J." last="Campbell"] - Wing - New Richmond

Campbell led New Richmond to a 20-4 record and a Middle Border Conference title. The sophomore guard put up 20.2 points per game last season. Campbell has very intriguing size (6-5) and athleticism and the ability to play on or off the ball. Able to play above the rim and snipe opposing defenses. Need to see him against upper-level competition before it’s clear how good this kid is, but he appears to be worthy of a spot in the Top 30.

[player_tooltip player_id="988983" first="Noah" last="Feddersen"] - Forward - Menomonie

Saw Fedderson against La Crosse Central and he did some nice things on both ends of the floor. A 6-foot-8 forward, Feddersen averaged 13.0 points per game as a sophomore. He’s a mobile big with some budding versatility and the ability to create mismatch problems.

[player_tooltip player_id="988845" first="Gus" last="Foster"] - Small Forward - Big Foot

Averaged 15.4 points per game as a junior. All-around productive prospect. Wiry, blue-collar player that plays with an edge and a motor. At 6-foot-3, isn’t limited to playing a certain position or sticking to a specific role. Right now, I see Foster being in the 40-50 range, someone that should attract Division 2 attention or be a high priority prospect for D3 schools.

[player_tooltip player_id="988699" first="Jerome" last="Jacobs"] - Wing/Forward - Madison West

Intriguing prospect with a raw frame and a lot of length. Averaged 10.2 points per game as a sophomore in the Big Eight. Tough to say what Jacobs is from a positional standpoint, but that only adds to his upside. Right now, Jacobs is pretty reliant on his physical tools, but shows flashes of being an effective slasher and transition threat. Does handle the ball well in the open floor and can finish with either hand.

[player_tooltip player_id="988980" first="Derek" last="Lindert"] - Guard Pardeeville

Coming off a monster sophomore season, Lindert put up 25.8 points, 8.9 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game. He was also named Player of the Year in the Trailways West Conference. Lindert had seven 30-point performances and knocked down 51 triples as well.

[player_tooltip player_id="988705" first="Monte" last="Mayberry"] - Shooting Guard - Northwestern

A native of Minnesota that transferred to Northwestern for his sophomore season, Mayberry averaged 5.6 points and 3.2 rebounds per game as a sophomore. Very strong pull-up jump shooter off the dribble. A guy who can square up and attack off the wing. Very pretty stroke from 3-point range. Mayberry also has some intriguing length and bounce to his game as well.

[player_tooltip player_id="988976" first="Greyson" last="Pritzl"] - Shooting Guard - West Allis Central

Averaged 11.2 points per game as a sophomore. Dangerous 3-point shooter who hit 51 triples last season while shooting at a 49.0 percent clip. Plays with a lot of swagger and confidence. Not afraid to take the big shot. No matter how many he may have missed in a row, Pritzl has the type of confidence and belief that the next one is always going in.

[player_tooltip player_id="988704" first="Zach" last="Steigenberger"] - Guard - Appleton East

Averaged 11.4 points and 2.1 assists per game as a sophomore. Connected on 48 triples while shooting just under 40 percent from downtown. 6-foot guard that can play on and off the ball. Changes direction well off the dribble and tough to stay in front of. Comes off screens and read defenders at an advanced level. Has some flare has a facilitator, able to deliver no-look and one-hand passes. Fearless scoring threat who’s confident in how he wants to create scoring looks.

[player_tooltip player_id="988972" first="Craig" last="Ward"] - Guard - Marshall

Ward averaged 17.2 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game. The younger brother of former Vermont guard Cam Ward, Craig had a seven 3-pointer performance last season against New Glarus.

[player_tooltip player_id="988981" first="Landon" last="Van Calster"] - Forward - Freedom

Van Claster has plenty of size and skill. The 6-foot-6 wing averaged 12.6 points per game last season, able to space the floor as a 3-point threat or slash into high percentage areas.
