<p>The new Prephoops Nevada Rankings are out. This is our most extensive player list ever, featuring 95 of the top players in the state of Nevada. These rankings take into account among other things, players’ production from the 2019-20 season, as well as any camps, tournaments, or events taking place before the cancelation of the grassroots Spring season. In this article, PH takes a look at the top pure point guards making an appearance in the c/o 2021 rankings.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="533062" first="Keshon" last="Gilbert"] <em>6’2 Durango</em> <em>(#6)</em> - KG2times is your prototypical PG. He sees the floor, has a wicked handle, and is the consummate floor general.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="858152" first="Jaycob" last="McBath"] <em>6’0 Desert Valley Prep</em> <em>(#21)</em> - High IQ fundamentally sound player. McBath excels at P&R offense and is able to get his shot and create for others off of it.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="858177" first="Cort" last="Ballinger"] <em>5’10 Bishop Manogue</em> <em>(23)</em> - Tough gritty player. Ballinger is willing to sacrifice his body for the squad and is a good defensive player on the ball and while playing the passing lanes.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="927125" first="Isaac" last="Wood"]s <em>6’2 Galena</em> <em>(#30)</em> - Has a terrific handle and can shoot it from the outside. Woods is better in an up-tempo game but has the IQ and skills to run an offense from the PG position.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="927133" first="Joseph" last="Summers"] <em>5’10 Carson</em> <em>(#38)</em> - High IQ guy that excels at playing stop and start basketball. Good shooter that can space the floor from the PG position.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="927138" first="Lucas" last="Walker"] <em>5’11 Moapa Valley (#39) (featured image)</em> - Good driver, and strong finisher. Walker plays with good pace and likes to get into the lane and either finish or dish to teammates.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="927140" first="Xakime" last="Milton"] <em>5’8 Centennial</em> <em>(#58)</em> - Ubber quick PG from end to end, Milton has good one on one ability, and is one of the fastest players from end to end in the state.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="927148" first="DJ" last="Turner"] <em>5’11 Shadow Ridge</em> <em>(#62)</em> - A physically built PG that is a willing defender, as well as tempo changer.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="927153" first="Javi" last="Mesa"] <em>5’7 Basic (#68)</em> - Mesa has a tight handle and can break players down in 1 on 1 situations.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="985584" first="Noa" last="Del Pozo"] <em>6’2 SLAM</em> <em>(#71)</em> - NDP is a great outside shooter with a good handle and break down ability. He can get his own shot or serve as a floor spacer without the ball.</p>
