Grassroots Spotlight: Mid-Mo Rebels 17U

<p>Prep Hoops Missouri continues its spotlight on grassroots teams with a look at the Mid-Mo Rebels 17U team.</p> <h4>Roster</h4> <p>Zac Coulter 6’0" Washington: A very solid combo guard whose game really flows well in the framework of the offense with his shooting and passing. He has a nice feel for the game and his court vision is excellent as he can spot open teammates with pinpoint passing. He moves well without the ball and he will knock down open 3-pointers.</p> <p>Andrew Dyson 6’1" Borgia: A capable wing guard who brings an excellent 3-point shot to the team. He has range that extends well beyond the 3-point line, so he can really stretch the defense.</p> <p>Don’TA Harris 6’3" Pacific: A long, athletic point guard who is a very effective slasher on the offensive end with his combination of size and length. He is a good finisher and an excellent rebounder from the guard position. As a junior, he averaged 11.4 points, 5.4 rebounds and three assists while shooting 50 percent from the field.</p> <p>Brendan Harter 6’3" Marquette: A solid shooting guard who enjoyed a breakout season after transferring from DeSmet. He is very athletic and skilled with the basketball as a scorer and passer. He can create off the dribble and get into the lane to get buckets plus he can knock down 3-pointers as a compliment. As a junior, he averaged 13 points, 3.6 rebounds and 4.3 assists in leading the Mustangs to a district championship.</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="824206" first="Ryan" last="Hoerstkamp"] 6’4" Washington: A top level football tight end prospect who has committed to Mizzou, he is also a rugged power forward on the basketball court. He is strong around the basket and he is also solid off the drive.</p> <p>Zakk Iviens 6’3" Clopton: A two-sport standout in football and basketball who earned All-Conference and All-District honors on the court. </p> <p>Ryan Kell 6’1" Borgia: A solid lefty combo guard who is an excellent hustler on the court with his ability to track loose balls and get into the passing lanes on defense. He handles the ball well and is a capable passer. </p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="824157" first="Collin" last="Parker"] 6’7" Montgomery County: The top college prospect of the team, he is a versatile combo forward who can excel in the post or on the perimeter. He operates well at the high post with his shooting and passing, yet he steps outside to handle the ball and make perimeter jumpers. He averaged 16 points and nine rebounds a game.</p> <p>Jason Sides 6’2" Washington: A solid complimentary player who plays with great activity at all times. He stays in constant motion as he loves to chase down rebounds and loose balls. He also averaged five points a game on team that won 18 games.</p>
