The Auburn Raptors AAU program has grown over the years, finding and producing talented players in different age groups. Here are the top-ranked players through 2021-2022 that play for the Raptors and that will be making noise for college coaches.

[player_tooltip player_id="886992" first="Payton" last="Allen"] 6’5" / SF Chambers Academy

Payton is an all-around athlete on the basketball court and long range sniper. He can pull up deep from the three-point line and knock it down. Allen’s game is smooth, and he doesn’t let anyone get him rattled.

[player_tooltip player_id="887007" first="Graham" last="Martin"] 6’4" / SF Handley

Martin is a fun player to watch. His handles for his size makes it hard for players to guard him. Martin has a beautiful high release shot and has a rapid release. When this kid steps on the floor, he is always fired up and ready to compete.

2022 Ranked Players:

[player_tooltip player_id="725180" first="Caleb" last="Paige"] 6’5" / G Eufala

Caleb is a downhill guard that loves to get into the lane. He likes to attack the middle of the paint and get fancy with his finishes. Caleb tends to hunt the paint majority of the game looking to draw fouls and get free buckets at the line.

[player_tooltip player_id="725181" first="Josh" last="Paige"] 6’4" / SG Eufala

Josh isn’t just a scorer on the floor, but he is a lock-down defender as well. He has really good anticipation when it comes to getting his hands on the ball. Josh can make plays on offense and defense, which is what college coaches will love about him.

[player_tooltip player_id="802665" first="Jayden" last="Buckley"] 6’0" / PG Auburn

Buckley has the most robust in-out move I’ve seen for a high school player. He keeps defenders on their heel with his handles. Buckley also has good court vision, especially in fast-break situations.

[player_tooltip player_id="692085" first="Caden" last="Brown"] 6’5" / PF Auburn

Brown can play the post and the small forward position depending on the match-up. His signature move is the two hand drop step dunk in the paint. Brown has long, lengthy arms, which makes his shot-blocking ability very solid.

[player_tooltip player_id="966155" first="Wesley" last="Roberson"] 6’5" / PF Thompson

Roberson is a consistent catch and shoot type of a shooter. His basketball IQ separates him from others on the court. Roberson is always looking to find his teammates, so he can put them in the best position to score.

[player_tooltip player_id="966152" first="Hayes" last="Sampson"] 5’10" / PG Auburn

Hayes is the definition of a floor general. With the ball in his hands, he will create opportunities for his teammates. Hayes is a knockdown three-point shooter, especially on the catch.
