The change in the recruiting cycle is going to be a big change for everyone. Right as we thought we were going to be getting out on the road, we get shut down. So, in order to spend as much effort as we can in getting players seen, we are going to do what we call, 3-Packs.

With these, we want to highlight 3 players who are similar in class and position. Get some time to dive into some quick thoughts, stat breakdowns, and film. Today, we are looking at 2021 Posts in [player_tooltip player_id="647220" first="Brady" last="Hunt"], [player_tooltip player_id="963120" first="Darrell" last="Reed"], and [player_tooltip player_id="963905" first="Mason" last="Nicholson"].

[player_tooltip player_id="647220" first="Brady" last="Hunt"] – 6’6 PF 2021 – Delta (IN)
Stats: 17.6 ppg, 8.6 rpg, 1.6 apg
Thoughts: Hunt is a tall power forward with a ton of athletic ability and talent. As his high school career has continued, he has developed almost all of his skills and has become one of the top power forward prospects in the 2021 class. For being a bigger player, he surprisingly has some real good handles and can play all over the court. Loves to show off his pull-up jumper and he also drives to the rim very well. He’s more aggressive and physically imposing now than he was and it makes life tough because bigs can keep up and wings are too small for him. Hunt should be in for an excellent senior season. Recently just committed to Ball State for football.

[player_tooltip player_id="963120" first="Darrell" last="Reed"] – 6’7 PF 2021 – Hammond (IN)
Stats: 15.4 ppg, 8.7 rpg, 1.5 bpg
Thoughts: Reed is an explosive and powerful power forward. He is a pretty tall player with a good amount of strength and size. Does most of his damage in the post area on both ends of court. Averaged 15.4 ppg last season and 8.7 rpg so he has a chance to average a double-double next season. Currently has three offers from DePaul, Stetson, and Ohio. Runs the floor real well for a big. Once he is locked in, he is tough to stop. Reed is poised to have an excellent final season to cap off an impressive high school career.

[player_tooltip player_id="963905" first="Mason" last="Nicholson"] – 6’8 C 2021 – Gary West (IN)
Stats: N/A
Thoughts: Nicholson is a big, bruising post player who has great size and enough strength to play with anyone. Not the most mobile prospect but does a good job in getting down the floor. Actually has a pretty soft touch around rim. One of his biggest things he needs to improve on is his cardio and quickness. Being a quick big man like he could be could do him wonders at the next level. Also would like to see him rebound a bit more. Nicholson has the potential to be a great big man. He just needs to continue to work. His senior season will be real interesting.
