<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Prep Hoops has released its latest Kansas Class of 2020 rankings and the class is filled with several future Division I prospects, including a few who already hold offers. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The latest version includes 210 players in the final 2020 rankings.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Here, Prep Hoops Kansas takes a look at several of the biggest risers since the last edition was released. </span></p>
<p><b>[player_tooltip player_id="942461" first="Brandon" last="Bates"], 6’0, G, 2020, St. John’s Tipton Catholic</b><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br />
</span><span style="font-weight: 400;">A strong guard who uses his physicality and mobility to make plays. Bates shows up on both ends of the floor and is good at scoring facilitating and forcing turnovers and transition plays. Also a strong passer and scoring option for his team. Bates had a terrific stretch of games near the end of the season averaging over 20 his last five games. He ended the season averaging 14.3 points, 3.8 assists, 3.2 rebounds and 2.1 steals per game as a senior. </span></p>
<p><b>[player_tooltip player_id="946174" first="Chance" last="Omli"], 6’1, G/F, 2020, Eisenhower</b></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Another scoring option for Eisenhower who can make plays off the ball and runs the floor. He is good at getting back on defense and always is ready to make a play or make an extra pass. Also a strong player on the football field, Omli brings a toughness and vision that can translate to steals, rebounds and second chance looks around the basket. A solid wing player who can defend the post. </span></p>
<p><b>[player_tooltip player_id="946173" first="Hezekiah" last="Newman"], 6’1, G/F, 2020, Olathe East</b></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">A Pitt State football commit who has good strength, athleticism and a hard-nosed mentality. Newman plays off the ball well and is a terrific defender with a nose for the ball. He can rebound, fight hard inside and also makes plays on the perimeter. Newman can finish at the rim when he attacks the basket and connects from 3-point range. </span></p>
<p><b>[player_tooltip player_id="946183" first="Brenyn" last="St. Vrain"], 5’8, G, 2020, Bishop Carroll</b><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br />
</span><span style="font-weight: 400;">A nice guard who has a lot of hustle and the ability to handle the ball and score in a variety of ways. He can hit 3-pointers, floaters and also looks to pass inside and move the ball around the perimeter. St. Vrain is also a terrific defender at the top of the key who shows athleticism and finishing ability. </span></p>
<p><b>[player_tooltip player_id="942481" first="Timothy" last="Gillen"], 5’10, G, 2020, Ingalls</b><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br />
</span><span style="font-weight: 400;">A strong scorer and rebounder for Ingalls who gets his teammates involved. He is a smart player with the ball and can knock down shots from 3-point range, the mid-range area and close to the basket. He’s also a solid player in contact situations and looks to make plays quickly and push the ball up the floor and create opportunities in transition.</span></p>
<p><b>[player_tooltip player_id="946179" first="Kolyn" last="Sauceda"], 5’9, G, 2020, Newton (pictured)</b></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">A nice guard who can run the floor well and has good speed and the ability to play with and without the ball. He can score for himself and is a solid rebounder for his size and looks to make plays wherever he can and keep his teammates involved by distributing and looking to feed the ball inside.</span></p>
<p><b>[player_tooltip player_id="946175" first="Brady" last="Palen"], 6’3, G/F, 2020, St. John’s Tipton Catholic</b></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">A high-scoring player who averaged 15.4 points per game and 7.7 rebounds. Palen hustles on the floor and is a good shot-blocker and underrated defender who can force turnovers and score in transition. He has good size and is quick to get up the floor and protect the basket. Palen also added two blocks and 1.5 steals per game. Palen signed to compete in track and field at Wichita State University.</span></p>
