First Team
Kalen Garry of De Smet (Soph). Garry averaged 21 points and 6.5 boards. Garry led his team to the number one seed in Class B as the best guard in Class B basketball and the best sophomore guard in the state.
Connor Libis of Dell Rapids St. Mary (Jr). Likely the Class B junior MVP. Scored 26 points a game this year with his dangerous three point shooting touch. First team all league player and the top junior in the region.
Andrew Rohrbach of Aberdeen Christian (Sr). Led the top Class A team with 19 points, eight boards, seven assists, and three steals a game. Headed to Northern State next year.
Gradee Sherman of Viborg-Hurley (Jr). Led his team to third in state with 17.2 points and 8.7 boards a contest. A first team all league player that was also the Region 6 Player of the year leading his team to the state tournament.
Reggie Slaba of Hanson (Sr). Slaba pushed Hanson to an 18-3 year averaging 21.5 points per game. One of the most feared three-point shooters in the state hitting 3-4 a contest. Will run track at SDSU.
Second Team
Zech Clemens of Northwestern (Sr). Clemens averaged 24.2 points, 6.7 rebounds, and three steals a game and next year he will play basketball at Northern State.
Kelby VanDerWerff of Platte-Geddes (Jr). Pushed his team to state averaging 15.3 points and 7.5 boards per. First team all league player and the toughest scoring weapon on his team. The Region 7 Player of the Year.
Trey Ramstad of Arlington (Sr). Trey averaged 18.2 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 6.5 assists a game for a top five team.
Tyce Ortman of Canistota (Jr). Averaged 15 points, 6 boards, 4 assists for 7th ranked Class B team. Ortman earned a spot on the five man all league team.
Nick Wittlerof Sully Buttes (Sr). Took his team to 18-2 with a 23.7 point per game average. A DWU signed player.
Third Team
Jake Brooks of Howard (Sr). DWU signed big that averaged 16.6 points and 5.8 rebounds per game this season leading Howard to a 16-5 year inside.
Noah Dickson of Sanborn Central/Woonsocket (Sr). Noah averaged a double-double at 20 points and 11 boards a game.
Brady Hawkins of Ethan (Sr). Brady averaged 20 points and 13 rebounds for a 15 win team.
Jacob Messmer of Wessington Springs (Jr). Our pick for the top junior in his region, Messmer led the Spartans to 13 wins. First team All conference pick in the 281.
Nick Sayler of White River (Sr). Sayler led White River to an 18-3 year averaging 24 points, four rebounds, three steals, and 2.5 assists per game. Has several football scholarship offers.
