The month of April has been a bigtime month for prospects in the state of NC and these final days has been very beneficial to colleges picking up commitments.

Combine Academy G/F Toyaz Solomon is headed north as he committed to University of Maryland-Eastern Shore. His skillset and upside is something that we are excited about as his best basketball is clearly ahead of him.

Greenfield School Senior Forward [player_tooltip player_id="833145" first="Trey" last="Pittman"] will be headed out of state to attend Lynchburg College. He’s a player that should be able to make early contributions at the D3 level due to his ability to play inside and outside of the paint on both ends of the floor. He’s proven himself as not only a talent but a team player as he’s taken on a lesser role during some seasons but stepped up when his team needed.

First Flight HS Senior Guard [player_tooltip player_id="572979" first="Dylan" last="Blake"] is Arguably the best shooter in the state, and he will be taking a preferred walk on spot at his dream school ECU. Don’t be surprised to see this youngster in the rotation before it’s all said and done simply off of his ability to be able to knock down shots at a high level.

Lumberton HS Senior Guard [player_tooltip player_id="833299" first="Jordan" last="McNeill"] will be local and Pirate fans wont have to go far to see one of their own play as McNeill made his college commitment to UNCP. He led his squad to a tremendous season this year and also finished with over 2,000 Points in his high school career. Not only will his scoring impress you but he’s one of the better rebounding Guards in the area as well.

Community Christian Senior Guard [player_tooltip player_id="833180" first="Jimmy" last="Forte"] is off the board!! Wake Tech CC picked up a talented scorer when they got a commitment from this young man. He’s shown his ability to score the ball in bunches over the past few years and we feel he will transition to the next level without much of an issue at all.
