Nevada Stat Leaders: Southern Steals Leaders

The 2019-2020 season is officially over. It was a season full of excitement thanks to dynamic players on both sides of the ball. We’re fortunate, as many players will be back next season. In this article, we take a look at the returning steals leaders for the state of Nevada. He was active and around the ball en route to averaging almost 2 steals per game including a game-high 6 steals vs Canyon View. [player_tooltip player_id="927129" first="Ta’quan" last="Dillion Hodges"] 6’0 SG Rancho 2021 (#32PHN 2021) - The bully of the Northeast proved to be more than a one-dimensional player. He returns as the conferences overall steals leading having averaged nearly 3 steals per game. [player_tooltip player_id="927147" first="Lowell" last="Chan"] 6’5 SF Sierra Vista 2021 (#55PHN 2021) - Chan is definitely a player that has a chance to rise. He was a top-notch scorer as well as arguably the best defender for Sierra Vista. He averaged nearly 2 steals per game to lead the squad. Berry is one of the top defensive guards in the state, and he proved that last season by leading the conference in steals with 2 per game. Will Barnum 6’0 SG Virgin Valley 2021 - The 6’0 guard was one of the top overall defenders in the conference last year. He returns after leading the conference in steals with nearly 3 per game. Zeus Inguanzo 6’2 SG Calvary Chapel Christian - The Zeus was loose all season. He finished second in the state averaging almost 6 steals per game last season.
