Prep Hoops Missouri continues it look at the Missouri-based grassroots programs with a look at the Marcus Denmon Elite 17U team. At the 16U level, the MDE team had a great run on the Adidas Gauntlet circuit last summer.

Roster

Dylin Taylor-Cantu 6’1" Piper (KS): A newcomer to the team who brings an accurate 3-point shot from the perimeter. He is very good off the catch, but he also has the ability to create his own shot off the dribble and sinks jumpers when he needs to. He is a solid athlete with good length.

[player_tooltip player_id="583730" first="Cachao" last="Gianquinto"] 6’3" Battle: A prototype shooting guard who has excellent size, a strong body and the ability to get buckets at three levels. He has a smooth stroke from 3-point range, but he can also use that physical body to power his way through traffic for layups and mid-range jumpers. He also has good court vision and will drop dimes to open teammates.

Cashius Howell 6’3" Rockhurst: A physical athlete who plays with a high motor and excels in the transition game. He can score around the basket, handle the ball and play solid defense. He is able to battle against bigger players with his high level of activity.
