Sam Aslesen of Howard (6’5 SF). Howard’s top player this year, Sam was a first team all league player and one of the most improved players in the state.
Garret Kerkvliet of Castlewood (6’2 SG). Scored 16.5 a game with nine boards a contest utilizing a perimeter stroke that made 37 percent of his three and 47 percent of his attempts.
Landon Leidholt of Warner (6’4 SF). At times Landon single handily kept his team in games taking the squad to the Sweet 16 with a couple playoff wins. First team all league player.
Connor Libis of Dell Rapids- St. Mary (5’9 PG). Scored 26 points a game this year with his dangerous three point shooting touch. First team all league player and the top junior in the region.
Jacob Messmer of Wessington Springs (6’5 PF). Our pick for the top junior in his region, Messmer led the Spartans to 13 wins. First team All conference pick in the 281.
Tyce Ortman of Canistota (5’11 PG). Most balanced player on a balanced team from Canistota, Ortman earned a spot on the five man all league team. Ortman took Canistota to the state tournament.
Wyatt Olson of Jones County (5’11 PG). Put together a 17.6 point per game season with six boards a contest for a team that was in the .500 area this season. Guard that shot a solid 44 percent. Second team all league player and the top junior in Region 7.
Gradee Sherman of Viborg-Hurley (6’4 PF). A first team all league player that was also the Region 6 Player of the year leading his team to the state tournament as a three seed.
Isaac Sumption of Leola-Frederick (5’11 PG). Top scorer on a 15 win team, shot very well at the arc this season. First team all league player. The top junior in his Region this year.
Kelby VanDerWerff of Platte-Geddes (6’5 PF). First team all league player and the toughest scoring weapon on his team. Platte-Geddes was balanced and talented but teams had the toughest time stopping Kelby in the paint. The Region 7 Player of the Year.
