With these, we want to highlight 3 players who are similar in class and position. Get some time to dive into some quick thoughts, stat breakdowns, and film. Today, we are looking at 2022 Guards in Carter Whitehead Carter Whitehead 5'10" | PG Southridge | 2022 IN , Christopher Gunn, and Drew Adzia Drew Adzia 5'9" | PG Crown Point | 2022 State IN .

Whitehead

Southridge | 2022
IN
– 5’10 PG 2022 – Southridge (IN)
Stats: 7.1 ppg, 1.6 rpg, 1.6 apg
Thoughts: Whitehead is a smaller guard who plays with a lot of toughness. Has a good amount of strength and some confidence on the ball. Doesn’t make a lot of mistakes and seems to handle pressure well. Has a smooth shot and hits it at a consistent rate. Is a true point guard because he looks to play with a “pass first mentality.” Will get most of buckets from the 3 point line. Smart prospect to keep an eye on.
Christopher Gunn – 6’4 SG 2022 – Lawrence North (IN)
Stats: N/A
Thoughts: Gunn is a big wing with a ton of length and plenty of upside. Has a ton of speed and athletic ability. Really at his best when he can get out and run. He gets a ton of buckets in transition. Solid handles and can play the 2,3,or 4 spot. One of the more bigger guards in the 2022 class but needs to continue to get stronger. The skill and talent are there for Gunn, he just needs to continue to piece it together. He is in for a breakout year coming up. Keep an eye on Gunn.
Drew Adzia
Drew
Adzia
5'9" | PG
Crown Point | 2022
State
IN
– 5’11 PG 2022 – Crown Point (IN)
Stats: N/A
Thoughts: Adzia is a small guard with quickness and handles. Has a real aggressive approach to his game. He is more of a lead guard but has a good shot in his game. Really quick with the ball and isn’t afraid to try and make a play. He’s really good as a creator for his teammates. His court vision is some of the best in his class. His junior year should be his best season yet.
