Part II of a solid group of point guards and guard in Norcal. The average size here between 5’11- 6’3. They have experienced competing at a good level on the grassroot circuit.

[player_tooltip player_id="775756" first="Jaylen" last="Patterson"] 6’2 Bradshaw Christian (Sacramento CA)

A physical guard who does a good amount of rebounding for his team. He’s comfortable banging bodies with bigger players inside. The lefty finishes with either hand around the rim. He has a good mid-range shot, but is always looking to get closer to the rim. He seems to be a score first guard, but will dish to open teammates for better percentage shots. He led his team in scoring, and assists. 14.4 ppg, 4.4.

[player_tooltip player_id="963954" first="Yaru" last="Harvey"] 6’3 Sheldon (Sacramento CA)

Not being able to play this grassroots season hasn’t helped Harvey. He had to wait his time on Sheldon’s bench because of the high level of play by the Seniors on the #1 team in NorCal. He’s a big guard who can handle the one spot on most occasions, he has good court vision and see’s the floor in the open court. He’s a controlled driver to the paint where he has good balance to stop on two and shoot over others. He also can finish above the rim. He deserve a look

[player_tooltip player_id="775798" first="Breckin" last="Beaman"] 5’11, Sacramento Adventist (Sacramento CA)

He plays at a small school and doesn’t get much recognition, but Beaman can light it up. The comb guard has a polished offensive game and he can score it multiple ways. When he has the ball in his hands he’s a threat to score. He lit up the small school division in scoring with an average of 27 ppg, 7 rebs, 5.1 asts, 5.4 stls.

[player_tooltip player_id="946921" first="Malik" last="Merchant"] 6’1 San Leandro (San Leandro CA)

Merchant is a defensive minded player. He’s strong, aggressive and has quick hands to go with good foot speed. He has no problem forcing and turning ball handlers without fouling. He’s a good ball handler, he can hit his mid-range and has shown some improvement shooting from three. If his offense improves his stock will rise.

[player_tooltip player_id="706287" first="Luke" last="Westermeyer"] 6’1 Clayton Valley Charter (Clayton Valley CA)

A smart crafty point guard, with good court vision and awareness, a pass first point guard. He takes full advantage of others mistakes. He has good handles and body control to get to his floater. He does a good job on the pick and roll. He has a solid mid-range game and he hits 3’s.

[player_tooltip player_id="775767" first="Isaac" last="Montgomery"] 5’10 Vanden (Fairfield CA)

An athletic playmaking guard who plays with a motor. He loves the contact and doesn’t shy away from it on his way to the basket. He plays a solid floor game, always in the mix. He has a good stop on the dime pull up. He’s an aggressive on ball defender. He plays with a chip on his shoulder.

[player_tooltip player_id="775750" first="Ja’Rod" last="Webb"], Florin (Sacramento)

A two sport athlete (football) who is a strong guard with good handles going left, but can finish on both sides of the basket and through contact. The lefty has a consistent mid-range jumper that he uses to set up his step back move.

[player_tooltip player_id="775807" first="Tyson" last="Geraci"] 6’2 San Marin (San Marin CA)

An excellent ball handler and decision maker with the ball in half and full court. He’s kind of wiry and loose with the ball, but he’s effective going to the basket and finishing off balance. He averaged 20 ppg, and has a mid-range and three he can hit. He may lack the speed on defense, but he makes up for it by always being in good position to help in the passing lanes or take a charge.
