2021 Guard/Wing Players

<p>Here’s a list of 6’3 - 6’5 players, guards and wings from NorCal that will continue raise their stock when the games begin. They will be key players on their grassroots and high school teams.</p> <p><em><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="775748" first="Marsalis" last="Roberson"] 6’5, Bishop "Odowd (Oakland CA)</strong></em></p> <p>Player of the Year, led his team in scoring and rebounds, helped O’dowd get to CIF Norcal State Final Game. (I was looking forward to that match up against Sheldon) He has multiple DI offers, Roberson’s stock will continue to rise. He demonstrates that he can be a dynamic athletic scorer on the wings and in the open court. He’s smooth but not soft, he’ll dunk on you. A heads up defender, tough man on man, good foot speed and lateral movement, he plays aggressive out on the wings.</p> <p><em><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="947697" first="Jaden" last="Alexander"] 6’4 St Patrick-St Vincent (Vallejo CA)</strong></em></p> <p>The leading scorer on a team that made it to the Division II CIF Regional Finals in NorCal. A combination of strength and athleticism, that allows him to be an effective player. He averaged 19.6 ppg, 7.9 rebs. He’s a crowd pleaser in transition with rim shaking dunks. He’s strong on the drive, attacking from the wings and baseline. He shows his versatility, by advancing and passing well in open court. He is difficult to contain in the post, he poses the strength and body to be a strong rebounder. If he improves his outside shooting efficiency, his stock will rise.</p> <p><em><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="775751" first="Tyree" last="Gill"] 6’3 Burbank (Sacramento CA</strong></em>)</p> <p>He’s a dynamic scorer, who’s pretty hard to guard when he has the ball in his hands. There’s no lack of energy when he’s on the court, he can get to the basket from many angles. He has an explosive burst on the drive, and excels in transition. He consistently knocks down his mid-range jumper.  He averaged 20.1 ppg, 7.8 rebs, 3.4 asts. </p> <p><em><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="706316" first="Cameron" last="Niles"] 6’4 Del Campo, (Fair Oaks CA)</strong></em></p> <p>A versatile player with good ball skills and quickness. He has good vision and is an excellent passer in open court. He has a nice high off the glass finish with either hand around the basket. He has some success shooting 3’s, and a nice dribble drive pull up, but tends to float on it. He gets a lot deflections and steals on defense. He averaged 15.2 ppg, 9.9 rebs. He needs to bulk up a bit.  </p> <p><em><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="958295" first="Sione" last="Lose"] 6’4 Capital Christian (Sacramento CA)</strong></em></p> <p>A smooth operator on the court, he finds ways to make his presence felt on the court in the game, a steal, a long up court pass, or an easy layup. He has a nice mid-range pull up jumper, and he uses control and balance to be an effective scorer around the post area. He makes good cuts to the basket. He plays the passing lanes well, and has a long wingspan to disrupt shots out on the wings. He averaged 13.4 ppg, 3.8 rebs, and 3.1 asts.  </p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
