2020 FINAL RANKINGS: Biggest risers in class

Prep Hoops has released its latest Kansas Class of 2020 rankings and the class is filled with several future Division I prospects, including a few who already hold offers. The latest version includes 210 players in the final 2020 rankings. Here, Prep Hoops Kansas takes a look at several of the biggest risers since the last edition was released. 10 to 5 [player_tooltip player_id="726591" first="Mayson" last="Quartlebaum"], 6’6, G/F, 2020, Lawrence Kennesaw State A big forward who has a high motor and an inside-outside game. Quartlebaum has established himself as a wing player who can move inside and make plays. He can handle the ball and is good at playing around the glass and finishing in transition above the rim. Quartlebaum also has improved his outside shooting and decision making with the ball in his hands. He is committed to play basketball at Kennesaw State. 14 to 12 [player_tooltip player_id="726595" first="Trey" last="Reid"] 6’2 G Maize South @TreyReid23 An explosive lead guard, Reid is a two-way standout who showcases athleticism, toughness and experience. He’s a crafty scorer who can connect inside and out and is a solid passer and a terrific defender. Reid averaged 23.8 points, 2.9 assists, 4.4 rebounds and close to two steals per game. He shot 51 percent from the field, 38 percent from 3-point range na d74 percent from the free throw line, hitting 117-158. 15 to 13 [player_tooltip player_id="885497" first="Tanner" last="Mans"] 6’5 G/F Bishop Carroll An impressive and skilled wing prospect who can knock down shots, shut down opponents and score around the glass. Mans has good size, solid vision and showcases a playmaker’s sense of awareness as he can score both inside and out. He is also capable of creating with his dribble and operating as a primary ball handler or a scoring guard as he has good handles, vision and scoring ability from outside. Man averaged 13.8 points, 3.8 assists, 4.3 rebounds and 1.1 steals per game. Mans has committed to play basketball at Virginia Military Institute. 17 to 15 [player_tooltip player_id="885499" first="Shawn" last="Warrior"] 6’4 G/F Campus An explosive athlete around the rim who looks to contribute as a slasher and creator. Warrior has great size, length and makes an impact as a perimeter defender. He can create with the ball but makes terrific plays off the ball well, has a three-point shot from the wing and corner spot and absorbs contact well in transition. Warrior recently chose Barton CC over offers from Coffeyville CC, and Hutchinson CC. 18 to 16 [player_tooltip player_id="885500" first="Steele" last="Chapman"] 6’1 PG Campus Southwestern Chapman is a terrific guard who can create with his dribble, get to the basket and finish and score from 3-point range. He has great vision and is a smart passer and looks to move well and exploit perimeter defenders. He attacks the basket and takes chances on defense and can get out in transition and either pass ahead, get to the basket or shoot from distance as well. Chapman has committed to Southwestern College. 21 to 17 [player_tooltip player_id="726579" first="Thomas" last="King"], 6’5, G/F, Campus A player who can stretch the floor with his shooting and also make plays inside and around the rim. King has the ability to operate as a catch-and-shoot player as he has great timing, a high release and 3-point range. King can handle the ball well and can operate as a creator, slasher and 3-point scorer from the win or corner spot. He looks to rebound and get out in transition. King recently committed to Barton CC. 22 to 18 [player_tooltip player_id="726584" first="Harper" last="Jonas"], 6’4, G/F, Andover Jonas is a skilled wing player who plays well in transition as he has good speed in the ability to make plays around the glass. Jonas can finish at the rim and is surprisingly spry. He can handle the ball some and shoots well from range and adds size, athleticism and a well-rounded skill-set to the floor. Jonas has committed to play basketball at Bethel College. 23 to 19 [player_tooltip player_id="885501" first="DK" last="Middleton"], 6’4, G/F, 2020, Free State Middleton is a strong wing-style player who can handle the ball and create his own shot. He moves well on the floor and can make plays in transition, block shots and get to the rim and finish. Middleton can connect from 3-point range and is confident as a scoring guard and a terrific perimeter defender who can get touches and finish plays at the rim. He recently reported an offer from Johnson County CC.
