<p>Here Prep Hoops takes a look at the 2020-21 season Early MIP Candidates</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="863920" first="Jason" last="Drake"] (G, Orchard Lake St. Mary’s)</strong></p>
<p><strong>Drake</strong> had a solid year for <strong>OLSM</strong>. With senior guard <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="784994" first="Lorne" last="Bowman"]</strong> heading to college that leaves <strong>Drake</strong> next in line, The 6’0 guard is a deadeye shooter averaged double digits and started for OLSM this year going into his Junior year<strong> Drake</strong> will have a lot more opportunities to put his talents on notice as the<strong> Eaglets</strong> will look <strong>Drake’s</strong> way to make up with scoring this upcoming year!</p>
<p><strong>Braelon Green (G, Ypsilanti Lincoln)</strong></p>
<p><strong>Green</strong> is by far the most athletic player on the list, the 6’2 freshman makers a major impact every time stepping on the floor. <strong>Green</strong> filled up the stat sheet for the<strong> Railsplitters</strong> this year in only his freshman season. The freshman guard can do it all knock down the deep ball, attack the rim, and protect the rim with his athleticism <strong>Green</strong> is definitely one to watch out for as the freshman still has three years left of high school basketball!</p>
<p><strong>Jamarion Wilson (G, U of D Jesuit)</strong></p>
<p><strong>Wilson</strong> is a true leader, <strong>Wison</strong> showed that he is able to lead under any circumstance leading the <strong>Cubs</strong> to the<strong> Catholic League championship</strong> game in his freshman season. <strong>Wilson</strong> also led the team in three-pointers made while averaging double-digit points this year for the <strong>Cubs</strong>. The 6’1 Guard was able to create for teammates leading the team in assist as well <strong>Wilson</strong> has three years left in high school <strong>U of D</strong> will look to <strong>Wilson</strong> to lead them where they need to go the next three years!</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="811126" first="Lucas" last="Henderson"] (G, Ypsilanti High)</strong></p>
<p><strong>Henderson</strong> is a pure scorer and showed it day in and day out, <strong>Henderson</strong> led the <strong>Grizzlies</strong> in scoring this year with games scoring 30+ sometimes 40+. <strong>Henderson</strong> can not only knock it down from deep but can also create for himself while also blowing by his defender to finish that the rim. <strong>Henderson</strong> is also a tenacious defender looking to guard the best player on the floor every time he touches the court 94 feet not backing down from any matchup. The 6’0 guard is a do it all player for the <strong>Grizzlies</strong> and will be a strong piece as they continue to grow next season!</p>
