The high school season is over in New York but that does not mean that all action is off the table. There is still plenty of talent out there looking for a home next season. Here are the top available recruits around the state.

[player_tooltip player_id="766077" first="Nate" last="Tabor"] | 6’5 | Sacred Heart

The process seemed to be over for Tabor. One of the best players in New York was committed to St. John’s and ready to play at Madison Square Garden. Tabor decommitted from St. John’s after they fired Chris Mullin. Now, Tabor is back on the market and has offers from a ton of programs around the country. Right now, he is the best available recruit in the state.

[player_tooltip player_id="945011" first="Aaron" last="Miller"] | 6’4 | Cardozo High School

Miller is a small forward who is best known as a scorer. He is scoring 15 points per game this season using his size and athleticism. A strong jump shot never hurt either. Miller is currently unsigned and will be looking for a place to play next season. Any team who lands Miller is getting a guard with an extremely high ceiling.

[player_tooltip player_id="945013" first="Da" last="MarcoWatson"] | 6’2 | Eagle Academy

Watson is the definition of a true point guard. He has solid size but could be matched in that area. Where he gains an edge is ball handling ability and speed. Watson is an elite passer and is someone who can set their teammates up well. Watson is a smart player who rarely makes the wrong decision.

[player_tooltip player_id="945015" first="Jose" last="Cuello"] | 6’2 | Wings Academy

Cuello currently has an offer from Bryant among others. He has yet to make a decision which is a smart path to take. Cuello is a player who can improve with ease. He is a point guard who can shoot at a high rate and fill up a state sheet.

[player_tooltip player_id="945016" first="Ahmarie" last="Simpkins"] | 6’2 | Brooklyn Collegiate

Simpkins is going to make one certain recruiter very happy. Simpkins has shown a lot off during his time at Brooklyn Collegiate. He is a spot up shooter with unlimited range. On the defensive end, Simpkins is a lock down player who can turn defense into offense quick. He does this by being extremely difficult to stop in the open floor.
