<p>The Palmetto State officially ended its season this past weekend at the Colonial Life Arena in Columbia. Five State Champions were crowned with plenty of familiar faces picking up the 1st place trophy. </p>
<p><strong>Class 1A - Great Falls HS defeated Scott’s Branch HS 73-71 (OT) </strong></p>
<p>The Red Devils picked up the schools 11th State Title and first for Head Coach Alex Fair. The Red Devils last one the state championship in 2012 under Head Coach John Smith. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="642002" first="Kelton" last="Talford"]</strong> who will play at Winthrop University next season finished his career with 25 points and 17 rebounds. Talford went to the foul line 21 times on the day and converted 11 shots. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="642056" first="Donnell" last="Adams"]</strong> (2020) scored 22 points and added 6 steals while <strong>Kell Brown</strong> chipped in with 12 points. </p>
<p>The Eagles were in scoring by <strong>Tariq Coard</strong> with 14 points while freshman guard <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="865309" first="Randy" last="Gibson"]</strong> added 13 points. <strong>Isiah Washington</strong> added 10 points and 7 rebounds in the defeat. </p>
<p><strong>Class 2A - Gray Collegiate defeated Whale Branch Early College 53-39 War Eagles 3-Peat as Class 2A State Champions </strong></p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="927500" first="Chase" last="McDuffie"]</strong> (2021) finished his season with a game high 20 points while senior guard <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="843563" first="Tauris" last="Watson"]</strong> added 11 points. Gray Collegiate (25-6) finished the season on a 15 game winning streak. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="567798" first="Latavian" last="Lawrence"]</strong> played his last game of his career while scoring 9 points. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="751281" first="Nick" last="Pringle"]</strong> a Wofford signee scored 11 points before fouling out with 5:44 left in the game for the Warriors. <strong>Shawn Chisolm</strong> (2020) scored 13 points in the game.</p>
<p><strong>Class 3A - Keenan HS defeated Wade Hampton HS 55-32 Raiders Win Back to Back State Championships and 9th in school history</strong></p>
<p>Raiders Head Coach Zach Norris won his 7th State Championship this past weekend in his 21 years at the school. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="536252" first="Raekwon" last="Horton"]</strong> (2020) the Class 3A State Player of the Year finished the game with 19 points and 16 rebounds. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="650215" first="Jazian" last="Gortman"]</strong> (2021) finished the night with 13 points while <strong>William Daney</strong> (2021) stepped up big with 13 points also in the win. The Raiders finished the season at (25-6) after starting (5-6). The Raiders won their 20 games to finish out the year. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="746986" first="Brandon" last="Brantley"]</strong> (2021) finished with 20 points for the Red Devils in the defeat. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="843601" first="Samuel" last="Gray"]</strong> (2020) finished his career with 9 points. </p>
