Delta is one of the best when it comes to scoring as it averages 95 points a game. <p>Princeton (25-4) vs. Platte Valley (27-2), at St. Joe Civic Center, Friday, 7:45 p.m. - Defending state champion Platte Valley survived an overtime contest against rival Mound City to get to the quarterfinals. Waiting for them is another big test in Princeton, a team that defeated Platte Valley in the championship game of the Albany Tournament. That was a two-overtime thriller. Princeton features one of the top Class 1 players in 6’4 2020 Preston Thomas. Platte Valley relies on his dynamic duo of 6’3" Clayton Merrigan and 6’6" [player_tooltip player_id="822952" first="Chase" last="Farnan"]. (Prediction: Platte Valley)</p>
<p>Golden City (26-2) vs. Green Ridge (19-8), Saturday, 2:45 p.m. at Southwest Baptist - Golden City has been on a tremendous run this season as the Golden Eagles are led by 2020 guard [player_tooltip player_id="822966" first="Arlo" last="Stump"], 2021 guard Lane Dunlap and 2021 guard chain Parrill. All three can get buckets. Green Ridge got by Fair Play in the sectionals last Wednesday as 2020 guard Alex Ribikh scored a career-high 39 points. Keaton Gibbs is also a big factor for Green Ridge. <p>St. Elizabeth (23-5) vs. Meadville (26-2) Friday, 8:15 p.m. at Moberly Area Community College - St. Elizabeth took one step towards a return trip to the Final Four by defeating Cairo in Wednesday’s sectionals. SE will continue to ride its big front line of 6’8" 2020 [player_tooltip player_id="822923" first="Ross" last="Struemph"], 6’5" 2020 Brock Heckemeyer and 6’2" 2020 [player_tooltip player_id="822978" first="Nolan" last="Heckemeyer"]. Meadville is much smaller, but they have some nice perimeter weapons in 6’0" 2020 Dominik Gannan, 6’1" 2021 Conner Fletcher, and 6’0" 2021 Trey Gannan. (Prediction: St. Elizabeth)</p>
