<p>Sadly, the state activities association was forced to pull the plug on the state tournaments after the first round of action. No champions will be determined this year.</p>
<p>Several players from Northeast Kansas made their marks in the final day of play:</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="885546" first="Raeshon" last="Riddick"], senior, Manhattan:</strong></p>
<p>In the 6A bracket, Manhattan lost to top-seeded Campus 66-50. Campus finished the year a perfect 23-0. 6-foot-3 senior Riddick led the Indians with 14 points and 6 rebounds in his final game.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="599752" first="Zeke" last="Mayo"], junior, Lawrence:</strong></p>
<p>Fifth-seeded Lawrence was taken down by Blue Valley North 72-66. Mayo, averaged 16.3 points during the season, ripped off 28 in the losing effort.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="891899" first="Mozae" last="Downing-Rivers"], sophomore, Free State:</strong></p>
<p>Sixth-seeded Free State went down to Blue Valley Northwest 55-48. The 6-foot-3 Downing-Rivers tallied 14 in the final contest.</p>
<p><strong>Kobe Johnson, senior, Ottawa:</strong></p>
<p>In 4A, sixth seeded Ottawa lost to Augusta 53-41. The 6-foot-5 Johnson tallied 12 points in his final game. He averaged 16.0 on the season.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="889459" first="Zach" last="Bloch"], junior, Seabury:</strong></p>
<p>Seeded second in the 2A bracket, Seabury lit up Valley Heights 72-45. With 27 points, Bloch led the Seahawks to their 22<sup>nd</sup> win against just two losses. The 6-foot-1 junior was second-team all state last year as a sophomore.</p>
<p><strong>Stavion Jones, junior, Seabury:</strong></p>
<p>The 5-foot-8 junior Jones added 21 in the blowout of Valley Heights. He was honorable mention all-state last year.</p>
<p><strong>Jackson O’Toole, junior, Valley Heights</strong></p>
<p>O’Toole did his best to keep the Mustangs in the game with Seabury. He drilled 4 of 5 3-point attempts and finished with 14 points.</p>
