Guards have dominated the game of basketball on every level but the important of a big man cannot be forgotten. There is something special about watching a big forward go to work on the block. It opens up the offense and could draw double-teams to free his teammates. For these players in the Class of 2021, they do just that.

[player_tooltip player_id="945516" first="Malcolm" last="Chimezie"] | Stepinac

Chimezie is the fourth best player in the Class of 2021 overall. He will have a lot of eyes on him playing at Stepinac and he has not disappointed. Chimezie has a total of 13 offers already from schools like UMass, St. Louis, Bucknell, and Robert Morris. At 6’8, Chimezie has the size to score down low and the athleticism to physically dominate opponents.

[player_tooltip player_id="945517" first="Shemani" last="Fuller"] | Cardinal Hayes

Fuller is another big man who will have his choice of schools. UMass, Bryant, St. Bonaventure, and Rider have offered him, among others. Fuller is more of a true forward. He is a back to the basket player who can step out and shoot from mid-range.

[player_tooltip player_id="945548" first="Franck" last="Kepnang"] | Wesstown School

Kepnang has become one of the hottest commodities in New York. This is because of his size at 6’10, his soft touch around the rim, and nimble feet down low. Kepnang has tormented defenses and he will do the same at the Division I level. He is getting offers from schools like Maryland, Georgia, UConn, Indiana, Ohio State, and Syracuse. There are many more that will surface during his senior season.

[player_tooltip player_id="945549" first="Xavier" last="Ryan"] | John Bowne

Ryan has led John Bowne for a couple seasons now. He is not done growing at 6’7 which will help him down the line. Ryan has the ability to handle the ball on the perimeter or work down low. This will benefit him at the next level because big men need he ability to be strong with the ball and even shoot a little bit.

[player_tooltip player_id="945543" first="Max" last="Edwards"] | Our Savior Lutheran

Edwards is listed as a small forward at 6’5 and that is exactly what he is. Edwards is an undersized forward who has the ability to double as a guard. He is a multi-faceted player who can guard all five positions and play all five on offense.

[player_tooltip player_id="945546" first="Aguibou" last="Balde"] | John Bowne

Balde is one of the talented players at John Bowne returning next season. He is an elite shooter who plays with a certain smoothness. The versatility of Balde makes him an extremely valuable player.
