The Spring signing period is quickly approaching. By many metrics, this has already been a tremendous year for local scholarship players, with over 10 players receiving basketball scholarships. Looks like the well’s not dry, as there are still several worthy prospects available throughout the state. In this article, a follow up to U.S Part I, we take a look at the next crop of available unsigned seniors.

[player_tooltip player_id="925441" first="Martell" last="Williams"] 6’2 SG Silverado (#8) - Positional concerns are what is holding him back. Can he play the 1, is he an undersized 2? He’s a terrific run and jump athlete, so at the right level, I could definitely see him being successful at the 2.

[player_tooltip player_id="856669" first="Londan" last="Coleman"] 6’4 SF Silverado (#25) (featured image) - The more and more I watch this kid play, the more convinced I am that someone is going to get a steal. Coleman just makes plays. He will be the first to tell you that he is predominately a left-hand driver, however, when he gets to his left hand he’s electric. Transition specialist that manufactures points without having a ton of plays run for him.

[player_tooltip player_id="925468" first="Nicholas" last="Attanasio"] 6’2 SG Faith Lutheran (#54) - I can see him being a specialist at a D2 or NAIA D1 school. High academic lefty that shoots the lights out. Attanasio is effective in catch and shoot situations, and off the move.

[player_tooltip player_id="925467" first="Kaden" last="Koch"] 6’5 PF Desert Valley Prep (#53) - For Koch it has to be the correct level. He’s undersized, however, he's a talented player. Nimble footed, high IQ big man that can make plays. There is a small school out there that is going to get a terrific talent, provided they play in the right league.

[player_tooltip player_id="925452" first="Joshua" last="Assif"] 6’6 SF Impact (#32) - Assif is a sleeper. He has good size and a nice skillset. Position questions, but I can see him being either an effective undersized stretch 4 or a low post scoring 3. He’s had some good games against decent competition including 28 against Dream Christian Academy this season.

[player_tooltip player_id="797136" first="Kade" last="Madsen"] 6’2 SG Palo Verde (#17) Madsen is an obvious choice for this list, you just have to be willing to wait. He’s going to do a two year Mormon mission, but if you do wait, you’re getting a stud. Already a physical run and jump athlete, the thought of Madsen in two years is extremely intriguing.
