We are less than a week away from the 1st annual Ball Dawgs All-Star Game. The event, the brainchild of Ball Dawgs CEO Neal Carter, includes a 3 point shootout and a dunk contest. The evening concludes with the Senior Showcase Game, featuring 25 of the top players in the state, and two fan favorites. The fan favorites were selected in two separate twitter polls. The game features a ton of future stars. In this article, PH takes a look at the participants that have already signed to play college basketball next season.

[player_tooltip player_id="797129" first="Julian" last="Strawther"] 6’6 SF Liberty (Gonzaga) (featured image) - What more can you say about the remarkable career of Strawther. He used his size and shooting to put up remarkable numbers for the Patriots. He is known primarily for his scoring, however, he has just the type of athleticism to excite the crowd in a game like this.

[player_tooltip player_id="797130" first="Mwani" last="Wilkinson"] 6’6 SF Bishop Gorman (LSU) - When it comes to athleticism, Wilkinson has it in spades. An elite run and jump performer that is sure to delight the crowd. Wilkinson is a highlight reel during regular games, so I’m sure everyone is excited to see him perform in an All-Star game setting. Wilkinson will be taking his talents down south to LSU next season.

[player_tooltip player_id="797131" first="Donavan" last="Yap"] 6’3 SG Arbor View (UNLV) - Yap is a pure scorer with unlimited range. He is perfect for an All-Star setting like this as his speed, quickness and shooting should translate well. Yap will be staying home to attend UNLV next season.

[player_tooltip player_id="925440" first="Noah" last="Taitz"] 6’3 SG Bishop Gorman (Standford) - Taitz probably won’t participate in the game, as he was recently scheduled to have surgery. Much respect for him, as he came back to help Bishop Gorman win another state title. The sharpshooter will be heading to Stanford next season.

[player_tooltip player_id="856672" first="Larry" last="Holmes"] 6’2 SG Arbor View (CSN) - Holmes is a fabulous two-way player. He can guard both backcourt positions and is a knockdown shooter from 3. Holmes is also a terrific run and jump athlete, that should perform well in this environment. He is part of the first-ever class at CSN.

[player_tooltip player_id="856663" first="Jaylon" last="Lee"] 6’8 C Arbor View (CSN) - The big-bodied banger, is going to provide some size to the exhibition game. Lee is a physical post who was one of the top rebounders in the state. It should be a lot of fun watching him get up and down the floor with the other athletes on display. Lee will be staying home to play for CSN next season.

[player_tooltip player_id="925444" first="Amari" last="James"] 6’3 SG Spring Valley (CSN) - James is an absolute sniper. A heat check player that can get hot in an instant. James has the size and frame to have a terrific college career. Because of his shooting, he is one of the favorites to leave the event with MVP honors.

[player_tooltip player_id="856689" first="James" last="Webster"] 6’3 SG Spring Valley (CSN) - Webster is another two-way player that will be staying home to play. He is part of the first CSN roster. Webster is a slasher that does a great job of finishing at the rim. So happy that Las Vegas has a local Juco because Webster stands to benefit from the local program perhaps more than anyone.

[player_tooltip player_id="856670" first="Nati" last="AsFaw"] 6’5 PF Del Sol (CSN) - I can’t wait to see Asfaw play beside Lee next season. The 6’5 banger will have an opportunity to play his true position at the college level. Asfaw has dancer’s feet and good hands. Much like Lee, it will be fun to watch him run up and down with the athletes in this game.
