<p>Friday evening will pit the final eight teams in contention from the 6A East region against each other. Half of that field will be dispelled by Saturday night, leaving behind four teams to advance to the state tournament.</p>

<p><strong>Putnam City North vs. Owasso / 8 p.m. @ Catoosa</strong></p>
<p>Caden Fry, [player_tooltip player_id="938859" first="Trent" last="Ellison"] and the Rams will play as the pseudo-home team Friday night in Catoosa against the stiff P.C. North attack, led by Tobias Roland, Jeff and [player_tooltip player_id="745377" first="Josh" last="Nwankwo"] and Jeremiah Johnson. The Panthers and the Rams have not met in the 2019-2020 season, but the Panthers appeared most recently in the State Tournament (2019).</p>

<p><strong>Booker T. Washington vs. Sand Springs / 6:30 p.m. @ Catoosa</strong></p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="535589" first="Bryce" last="Thompson"] and [player_tooltip player_id="931186" first="Davon" last="Richardson"] split the 2019-2020 season at 1-1 -- the Sandites taking the first round and the Hornets taking the second. Though the loser stays in contention, you’ll be pressed to find a more competitive playoff game this weekend between the trio of PWP teammates -- Thompson, Richardson and [player_tooltip player_id="535593" first="Trey" last="Phipps"].</p>

<p><strong>Yukon vs. Broken Arrow / 8 p.m. @ Owasso</strong></p>
<p>The Tigers and Millers could put forth a highly entertaining match on Friday night, with the Yukon surprising the field to advance to area and Broken Arrow putting forth its best regular season since 2017-2018. Led by [player_tooltip player_id="938854" first="George" last="McCurdy"] and [player_tooltip player_id="745361" first="Tyler" last="Pinder"], the Tigers have been stiff all season, but [player_tooltip player_id="931273" first="Carson" last="Lambakis"] and the Millers are sure to mount a full-scale attack on the road Friday night.</p>

<p><strong>Jenks vs. Union / 6:30 p.m. at Owasso </strong></p>
<p>The rivalry seemingly as old as the state itself, the Trojans meet the Redskins on Friday night for a chance to advance to the Mabee Center next weekend (winner has a loss to give). [player_tooltip player_id="609770" first="Seth" last="Chargois"], R.J. Forney, [player_tooltip player_id="931248" first="Micah" last="Lovett"], [player_tooltip player_id="931219" first="Nehemiah" last="Boykins"] and [player_tooltip player_id="931237" first="Mason" last="Mecke"] take on a stiff Trojans’ defense that includes [player_tooltip player_id="609778" first="Anfernee" last="Nelson"]. The scoring attack from Chase Martin will be a great task for the Redskins’ defenders.</p>
